It is a remake of the 1981 Chilean telenovela of the same name created by Arturo Moya Grau. Adapted by Martha Carrillo and Cristina García, and directed by Carlos Cock Marín and Luis Eduardo Reyes, the telenovela stars Aracely Arámbula, Andrés Palacios, Marisol del Olmo, Gabriel Soto, Cecilia Gabriela, Martha Julia, David Zepeda, and Juan Martín Jauregui.
