In an attempt to pull her family together, Adèlle travels with her young daughter Sarah to Wales to visit her father. The morning after they arrive, Sarah mysteriously vanishes in the ocean. Not long after, a little girl bearing a striking resemblance to their missing daughter reveals that she has retuned from the dead — and that Sarah has been taken to the Welsh underworld.

Seeking vengeance, a man is directed by a sorcerer to cut his child out of his pregnant wife so he can create a miraculous 'ghost child'. Overhearing this conversation, his wife flees into the forest where she ends up giving birth to twins with the help of a kindly woman living there. Afraid her husband is chasing her, the wife flees further into the forest with just one of her children, but dies when she falls off a cliff after being chased by wolves. The wolves raise the child as one of their own, whilst her twin sister is raised by the kindly woman living in the forest.

The police, led by Inspector Ibanez, are baffled by the murders of several attractive female dancers who all work on a musical TV show that features a horror-themed tableaux. The killings are the work of a masked psychopath with a taste for human blood and there are many suspects…
