The man is making a living by circulating advertisements. While turning the ad flyers, they find a house with a slightly open door. The man goes home thinking about stealing dinner money. There is a quiet, tightly closed door inside the house. The man who was about to come out with nothing wants to open the closed door. There are the bodies of an old man and a girl who committed suicide when forced to open a tightly closed door. Then someone rings the doorbell.

With "FOOD LOVE" (2023), Mayr and Hase present their second short film and the follow-up to their debut film "CAR LOVE" (2022). Here, the themes of food and sexuality are negotiated; more specifically, it's about French "haute cuisine," which is brought into a sexually charged context during the film. The boundaries between the art of cooking, food consumption and sex become blurred in FOOD LOVE; the food that the protagonist creates is consumed in a multiple sense and serves physical gratification in an ambiguous sense. In the order of a French menu, sexual acts are performed with and on the dishes. After the climax, however, a surprise awaits: it is an inconspicuous fast-food burger that is finally eaten by the protagonist.

Martín is the son of a fisherman who, in the morning, helps his father in fishing and, at night, is a dancer in nightclubs of the city, one day he meets an enigmatic man who will help him heal a trauma from the past.

One silent night, a boy wakes up scared when he hears footsteps in the house. In the darkness, he finds a familiar figure - his mother - who tells him to go back to bed, when he returns, he realizes that something is wrong.

One by one, the children who play at a neighborhood park are abducted by a Witawit, a monstrous-looking creature who lives in the park’s trees. Little Nikkie and Yaya Tising try to get to the bottom of the mystery and rescue the abducted children.

"Travelling Through Brush and Ink" is a stop-motion animation of a little modern man traveling through four significant ancient Chinese paintings, transforming himself into animals and plants, and becomes part of the nature. Each painting represents four important stages of landscape art in Chinese history. Based on the original paintings, we built the sets and animated little character inside- all frame by frame. The animation is the opening film of 2016 annual exhibition National Palace Museum Taiwan.
