In a quiet house, Leonor spends her days in near-constant solitude, while her mother, Diana, works tirelessly around the clock to support them. One night, after a terrifying experience in her room, Diana tries to comfort her by giving her a puppy, hoping its companionship will help her sleep peacefully. At first, the dog becomes her refuge and inseparable companion. But when the shadows begin to move again and the strange noises return, Leonor will discover that not everything that licks her hand in the dark is her pet.

Jana, a girl suffering from depression, escapes to her grandmother's country house in a desperate impulse to escape from her increasingly destructive thoughts. She is searching for the warmth emanating from her grandmother Helena and the home that saw her grow up between summers and holidays, but nothing tears her away from her unease. The forest that surrounds the house further immerses Jana in her loneliness, taking her to the limits of her own darkness.

The forest creatures join Furi on his quest to find the moles, proving that friendship can overcome any obstacle.

A shelter, located in Jalisco, seeks day after day to provide a better lifestyle for their dogs, keeping them away from the world that has hurt them. Meanwhile, they worry about finding a new home for them, although many of them still haven't found it.
