Kostas (Dinos Iliopoulos), a small-time lawyer is tasked with accompanying Smaro (Smaroula Giouli), a young rich heiress, from the country to Athens where she wants to sell her estate. Kostas though starts a day late and Smaro goes to Athens by herself. In the end after much wandering and misunderstandings Kostas will meet Smaro who will fall in love with him.

Businessman Telis Birkas (Periklis Hristoforidis) decides to marry his daughter Antzela (Sasa Kastoura) with a nice guy, his accountant Dinos (Dinos Iliopoulos). Antzela though does not want to hear a word about it. Telis, decides to train Dinos in order for him to win his daughter's heart. Training does not go so well and so the call in the big guns.

Things get complicated, however, when one supplier seeks to marry the widow Lampiris, but cunning Kostas "resurrects" Tolis wins and Alice, for the sake of which also did what he did.

Pavlos, a conservatory student dreaming of becoming a great artist of quality music, lives with his fiancée Kaiti in a small room, hosted by two friends. Due to financial tribulations, he is forced to join his friends' folk band and performs every night at a night club. That's were Mr Giorgos and his lover Liza frequent. Liza, a rich girl, falls in love with Pavlos and tries to seduce him. However, when she realizes how deeply he loves his fiancée, decides to help him get back together with Kaiti.

Vangelis is a lazy guy who's trying to earn some money to marry his beloved, but he is captured by the police who confused him with a wanted man. Eventually, the true crook is arrested and Vangelis returns to his beloved.

Stelios Kondogiorgis (Dinos Iliopoulos) and Thomas Makrykostas (Costas Hajihristos) are two quiet men that come from the same Peloponnese village yet do not know each other. Their families however are involved in a bloody feud that started 80 years ago. Stelios and Thomas are the last male members from each family. After the last murders in the village where a member of each family died, Stelios' uncle (Pantelis Zervos) urges him to find and kill Thomas for revenge lest he finds him and kills him first. At the same time Thomas is visited by his aunt (Joly Garbi) who asks of him the same and provides him with weapons. Despite everything, neither Stelios nor Thomas are interested in murdering one another and they are both terrified from the idea that a stranger is looking for them in order to kill them. So, they decide to leave their respective jobs and hide at some remote hotel. Luck brings them together without them knowing of each other's identity as they share a room.

Thomas Karatoulpanis (Dinos Iliopoulos) is a naive employee at a car show in the Thessaloniki International Trade Fair. Because of his modest personality he is constantly criticised by his mother-in-law, his uncle and his boss. The only one who supports him is his wife. But the appearance of a doppelganger who buys extravagant gifts in his name causes a ruckus. Thomas is an amateur singer and participates in the Thessaloniki Song Festival winning the first prize. This is when everyone realises that there are two people who look alike.

Claiming that he and his brother, Dimos, are like two peas in a pod, a womanising husband puts the blame on him when his wife discovers a compromising photograph. Now, he has a lot of explaining to do. Is he or Dimos the man in the photo?

However, Marina secretly changes the ballots handed out by her father's men, granting victory to her beloved, who goes straight to ask her to marry him, certain that he won thanks to his own abilities and effort.

In a poor neighborhood of Athens, next to the coffee shop of Spyros (Mimis Fotopoulos) is a coffee shop that has gained a great reputation and is preparing to move to Kolonaki as it has made a lot of money by telling the cup. In the same neighborhood is a laundress, Kalliopi (Georgia Vassiliadou), who makes a living by force. One day, after an incident in which a customer (Kostas Mentis) humiliates Kalliopi and Spyros intervenes, he comes up with an idea: for Kalliopi to run the coffee shop, since the other one has left.

Thirty-year-old lower middle class Dimitris, faint-hearted and not particularly ambitious, is ready to jump at the opportunity that will get him handsomely provided. He wavers between yesterday, the German occupation nightmare and his love debut with a neighbour and contemporary, fluid reality. He meets Thaleia, a rich woman his age, who frequents the same night club as him, but his daily routine is invariably the same. The closure of the small industry in Drapetsona, where he used to work for the last 8 years, and his relationship with Maria confront him with a different reality. Maria is a progressive, evening school teacher, full of dreams.

A young woman who is married with an older man, she is getting bored more and more as she feels ignored and unfulfilled. One rainy day she meets a lonely painter at his little beach house.

Kimon and Aris are brothers, still they are completely different characters. Kimon, the eldest one, is a serious, conceivable, and stubbornly man who refuses to marry. Set in Athens, this Greek film concerns the trials and tribulations of two girls from the village of Korfu. Unschooled in big-city ways, our heroines are prime targets for every sharpster and lothario in the city. The results of their naivete are more comic than dramatic, culminating in lasting romance for both ladies. The plotline is periodically interrupted by the performance of Greek folk dances, easily the highlights of the film. Indicative of the frugality of the Greek film industry is the fact that, at $80,000, this was the country's most expensive production up to 1957!

Lila Vasileiou, who has recently graduated as a civil engineer, undertakes an exceptionally serious position, that of managing a technical company. In the beginning, she sees men only as her colleagues, but after some lessons from her cousin Athina, she realizes that she is also a beautiful woman. So, at a party, where she meets Alekos, a plain assistant engineer in the company, whom she likes as a man, she drinks a bit much and does various crazy things so that the young man will notice her. The honest and meticulous cashier, Savvas, works in a business and is often pressured by his wife’s siblings to embezzle money from his job and lend it to them. When his manager, leaving on a trip, entrusts him with a million drachmas without a receipt, Savvas succumbs to the pressure and gives some of the money to his brother-in-law. In the end, however, an unexpected development awaits Savvas, since his manager is killed in an airplane crash and he has to decide what to do with the money.

An unemployed man (Kostas Chatzichristos), prone to endless amusements, economically sucks his uncle (Periklis Christoforidis) in order to satisfy his desires. His despair, when his uncle decides to stop the economic benefits, will lead him to sell some furniture of the house. He sells four armchairs and then he learns that in one of them were hidden precious jewels of the aunt. He looks desperately to find and to get them back, but he only discovers three of them, and in these there is no trace of jewelry. To find the fourth and lucky one, whose traces are completely ignored, he accepts partnered with a friend (Takis Christoforidis). He is transformed into an organized, consistent and good working man, and falls in love with his sister's partner (Stella Stratigou) and discovers that the fourth chair was held by his uncle, who set up this whole story to motivate him and make him active.

Thanasis, the waiter of country tavern "The seven brothers", is preparing to marry the Anthoula. Shortly before going to church but has an accident and suffers amnesia. While Anthoula, siblings and friends are waiting for him in the church, he wanders the streets unnecessarily.

During an International Trade Fair at Thessaloniki, a mature woman, Rena (Martha Karagianni), goes there with her sister to convince her childhood friend Dinos (Dinos Iliopoulos) to have a "white wedding" so that she can inherit a large estate. Dinos though, does not accept because even though he is actually a womanizer he acts as a shy and modest man around people. Everyone there will meet a group of musicians and one of them will fall in love with the daughter of the strict manager of the company Dinos works for who is accompanied by Dinos. At some point, everyone goes to Athens where things get more complicated untill everyone finds his perfect match. In the end Rena gets her inheritance and all together they perform a musical play in a grand theater.

A veteran general, living poorly but honestly with his wife and his daughter, is visited by his future son-in-law who informs him that he is going to immigrate to Australia. Taxidi Tou Melitos is about the fear that most elderly people experience: approaching death. Leon (Stavros Xenides) and Zaharoula (Betty Livanou) are heading out for their annual vacation at a summer resort. Instead of their usual carefree anticipation, their mood is subdued because their daughter has just married and is off on her honeymoon. Life is lonely without her and the couple cannot avoid the realization that death is not that far away for them. Once at the resort, Leon tries to overcome this nagging fear by taking a wild plunge in the ocean, naked, as he and Zaharoula are out walking on the beach. Taken up in the spirit of the moment, she joins him among the waves. The results, however, are not what they expected.
