A virus causes people to age rapidly. There is an antidote, but it has to be taken daily and is under control of a single company. A woman who is not infected carries an infected child, and seeks for it to be cured. This quest leads her to the blue lands, where most of the infected live.

In this musical comedy set to 1950's rock 'n' roll, three women are working in a burlesque club. They are more than content with their jobs but things start to change when the management starts to make demands. Their sleazy manager, who seems to have a wandering eye for the hard working girls, tries to convince them to show more flesh. Although he assures them that it will bring in more business and thus create more money for them, they refuse. What will happen when the pressure is on for them to "take it off"?

David is a creatively stifled painter in desperate need of inspiration. As happenstance would have it, while seeking a job waiting tables, David stumbles upon a new muse in the form of a strapping diner owner named Matt. In short order the two bond over a shared love of art, and before long their passion for painting transforms into something more torrid. If it weren't for Matt's wife, Violet, everything would be perfect.

Paradise Falls was a weekly soap opera shown nationally on the Showcase channel in Canada, starting in 2001. It is set in a summer cottage community in Central Ontario.
