Chellakili and Murugan are long-lost-lovers who unite when Murugan visits her village disguised as a musician, Murugesh. Chellakili's aunt devises a sinister plot to separate them.

The Story revolves around a poor girl living with widowed mother and siblings. Poverty and the family situation gets her mother to prostitute herself for the welfare of the family. Director Bhagyaraj, treats this subject from the perspective of the girl who sees the wrong of her mother; but in the later teases the thought of right and wrong with the viewers considering the situation in which the mother gets into that. Bhagyaraj, himself plays the neighbour who first falls in love with the girl, later to realize that she is already in a relationship with another.

A man falls in love with a girl and marries her. After his friend passes away in an accident, the man begins to support his friend's young wife. This sows a seed of suspicion in his wife's mind.

Enga Chinna Rasa was a 1987 Tamil film written and directed and starred by K. Bhagyaraj. This film is an inspiration of Kannada movie Mallammana Pavada (1969), starring Rajkumar and B. Saroja Devi. It was also remade to Telugu as Abbaigaru, to Hindi as Beta, starring Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and again remade to Kannada as Annayya, starring Ravichandran and Madhubala.

Oru Oorla oru Rajakumari (A princess in a town) is a Tamil film written and directed by K. Bhagyaraj. The film, produced by C. H. Venu, had musical score by Ilaiyaraaja and was released on 15 January 1995.

Muthuvelu lives with his mother Deivanai and his grandfather in a mountainous area. Despite being an educated man, he makes his living harvesting honey using traditional methods. The wicked forest officer Sundaram often gets into fight with Muthuvelu. Muthuvelu's song is telecast by the TV channel, Muthuvelu becomes popular in no time thus he becomes a singer.Muthuvelu goes in search of his father. He finds that his father Ratnasabapathy is now married and has three sons. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

The film was a remake of the 1986 Malayalam film Gandhinagar 2nd Street starring Mohanlal and Karthika directed by Sathyan Anthikad. The film is a mixture of comedy, romance, sentiments and affection. It was a profitable venture for Vivekananda Film Circuit K.Padmavathi.
