Saswata Chatterjee (born 19 December 1970) is an Indian actor of television and films based in Kolkata. Born to actor Subhendu Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee began his career with a Hindi serial directed by Saibal Mitra, based on Samaresh Majumdar's Kaalpurush. He gained popularity by portraying the character of Topshe in a Feluda-based television series directed by Sandip Ray. His acting in many Bengali films has been praised by the critics, including his portrayal of a Ritwik Ghatak-inspired character in the 2013 film Meghe Dhaka Tara. He enjoyed success at the national level in Sujoy Ghosh's 2012 blockbuster Hindi film, Kahaani, where he played Bob Biswas, an assassin.

Mélanie Laurent

Mélanie Laurent (born 21 February 1983) is a French actress, filmmaker, and singer. The recipient of two César Awards and a Lumières Award, she is an accomplished actress in the French film industry. Globally, she is best known for her roles in Inglourious Basterds, Now You See Me, 6 Underground, and Operation Finale. Born in Paris to a Jewish family, Laurent was introduced to acting at the age of sixteen by Gérard Depardieu, who cast her in a minor role in the romantic drama The Bridge (1999). She gained wider recognition for her supporting work in several French films, most notably the 2006 comedy Dikkenek, for which she won Étoiles d'Or for Best Female Newcomer. Her breakthrough role came in the 2006 drama film Don't Worry, I'm Fine, for which she later won the César Award for Most Promising Actress and the Prix Romy Schneider. Laurent made her Hollywood debut in 2009 with the role as Shosanna Dreyfus in Quentin Tarantino's blockbuster war film Inglourious Basterds. Her performance won the Online Film Critics Society and the Austin Film Critics Association Best Actress Awards. In addition to her film career, Laurent has appeared in stage productions in France. She made her theatre debut in 2010 in Nicolas Bedos's Promenade de santé. The short film De moins en moins (2008) marked her debut as a filmmaker. Her feature film directorial debut is The Adopted (2011). Respire (2014), her second production as a director, was screened at the International Critics' Week section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. David Cardoso

José Darcy Cardoso, better known by his stage name David Cardoso, is a Brazilian actor of film, stage and television, who has also worked as a filmmaker and producer. Founder of production company DaCar Produções Cinematográficas , he's known as one of the main names among the erotic and pornographic productions of São Paulo's "Boca do Lixo". Born and raised in Maracaju, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, by 1963 Cardoso moved to São Paulo and began searching for gigs as a technician in filmmaking. Working as continuity supervisor and production director at Pam Filmes, Amacio Mazzaropi's production company, he got his debut as an actor in a short role in Mazzaropi's O Lamparina (1963). He would have his first substancial role in Walter Hugo Khouri's "O Corpo Ardente", in 1966. By the early 1970s Cardoso already had gain notoriety as a star, after acting in Glauco Mirko Laurelli's "A Moreninha" (1970). In 1973 he founded DaCar Produções Cinematográficas, which would go on to produce most of his later films. His debut as a director was 1977's DaCar production "Dezenove Mulheres e Um Homem". As an actor, Cardoso was featured in more than 40 films, from pornographic features to family-friendly movies such as Roberto Farias' "Roberto Carlos em Ritmo de Aventura" (1968), including avant-garde and cult films like Ozualdo Candeias' "A Herança" (1971). He played the main part in Rede Globo's soap opera "O Homem Proibido" (1982), leading to a series of protests from a conservative part of the public in account of his well-known connection to erotic productions. Cardoso is father to actors David Cardoso Júnior and Tallytha Cardoso, and currently lives in a farm in his home state of Mato Grosso do Sul.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. Tetsurō Tamba (July 17, 1922 – September 24, 2006) was a distinguished Japanese actor known for his versatile talent across five decades. Recognized globally for his portrayal of Tiger Tanaka in the iconic 1967 James Bond film "You Only Live Twice," Tamba's cinematic journey was a remarkable blend of cultural bridges. Before embarking on his acting career, Tamba worked as an interpreter for the Allied Powers' Supreme Commander. Graduating from Chuo University in 1948, he later joined Shintoho company, making his debut in the film Satsujin Yougishain in 1951. Tamba's impact on Western audiences extended beyond Bond, with standout performances in films like Bridge to the Sun and The 7th Dawn. He earned acclaim in Japan as well, most notably as the lead in police dramas like Key Hunter and G-Men '75. His talents weren't confined to the screen alone. Tamba lent his voice to characters like the Cat King in Studio Ghibli's The Cat Returns and graced historical roles in television dramas, leaving an indelible mark on period pieces. In 2005, Tamba faced health challenges but continued to contribute until the end. Sadly, he passed away in Tokyo at 84 due to pneumonia on September 24, 2006. Jules Munshin

Biography

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.   Jules Munshin (February 22, 1915 – February 19, 1970) was a song-and-dance artist who had made his name on Broadway when he starred in Call Me Mister. Additional Broadway credits include The Gay Life and Barefoot in the Park. Although Munshin was in successful MGM musicals such as Easter Parade and Take Me Out to the Ball Game, audiences would always remember him as one of the trio of sailors (along with Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra) singing "New York, New York" in the hit film On the Town (1949). Another of his great roles was Bibinski, a Russian Commisar in Silk Stockings (1957). Munshin died at the age of 54 from a heart attack, three days before his 55th birthday.
