Ron O'Neal

​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.   Ron O'Neal (September 1, 1937 in Utica, New York – January 14, 2004 in Los Angeles, California) was an American actor, director and screenwriter. O'Neal is most remembered for his starring role as Youngblood Priest in the blaxploitation film Super Fly and the anti-villain Cuban officer Colonel Bella in the film Red Dawn, although he also had recurring roles on the television show Living Single as Synclaire's father and as Whitley Gilbert's father on A Different World. He was also a regular on the 1982 series "Bring 'Em Back Alive" with Bruce Boxleitner in which he played the Sultan of Johore. He died in 2004 of pancreatic cancer at the age of 66 on the same day "Super Fly" was released on DVD in the US. Raymond Thiry is a Dutch actor. He started out in theatre in 1987 with his own theatre group Alex d'Electrique, a well know group and very successful at different festivals and in theatre all over the Netherlands and Germany. After being in several prime time TV series, he stars in 2006 in the art house film 'Langer Licht' by David Lammers and receives a prestigious Golden Calf Nomination at the Dutch Filmfestival. In 2009 he wins this same award for his brilliant work in 'Oorlogswinter' (Winter in Wartime) by director Martin Koolhoven, which was a huge box office success. After his award his agenda fills up fast with all sorts of characters in Feature Film as well as TV. He impressed in the Dutch Crime series Penoza and feature films Sonny Boy and Lotus (release autumn 2011). At the end of 2011 Raymond will hit the theaters again, together with star actress Sylvia Hoeks in the play Poskantoor, based on the book Post Office by Charles Bukowski. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. She is an American actress known primarily for her role as Nancy Wheeler in the Netflix science fiction drama series Stranger Things. Her career began around the age of twelve in 2009, in the family comedic drama Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009) starring Miley Cyrus. It was not until her late teens, did she land her breakthrough role on Netflix's horror drama series Stranger Things (2016). On January 29, 2017 at the 23rd Screen Actors Guild Awards show, Dyer and the cast of "Stranger Things" became co-winners for "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series". Dominique Laffin

Dominique Laffin (June 3, 1952, in Saint-Mandé, Val-de-Marne, France – June 12, 1985, in Paris) was a French actress who appeared in 19 films between 1975 and 1985. Laffin made her major film debut in 1977, gaining critical acclaim for her role in Jacques Doillon's 1979 film, La Femme qui pleure. For her performance, she was nominated for the César Award for Best Actress. That same year, she co-starred with a young Roberto Benigni in the film Chiedo asilo. Her career was cut short at the age of 33 by a massive heart attack. Her daughter later said that she had committed suicide, but says that she has not been able to confirm this either way. During her short career, Laffin appeared with many of France's rising young stars, including Gérard Depardieu, Juliette Binoche and Miou-Miou, as well as established stars such as Yves Montand. Laffin is buried near the renowned director François Truffaut in the Cimetière de Montmartre in the Montmartre Quarter of Paris. Milena Dravić

​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Milena Dravić (1940–2018) was a Serbian actress. Born in Belgrade, Dravić was involved with the performing arts from the age of four: first with dance and later classical ballet. In 1959, while in high school, director František Čap saw her on the cover of a youth magazine in a ballet dancers group photo and decided on the spot to approach her about being in his film Vrata ostaju otvorena. After appearing in few more films she decided to pursue acting full-time and successfully enrolled in Belgrade's Dramatic Arts Academy. Her big break came in 1962 when she won the Golden Arena for Best Actress award (which was the Yugoslav equivalent of Academy Award) for her role in Branko Bauer's film Prekobrojna. This was the moment that sent her on the way to becoming Yugoslavia's first and arguably the biggest female movie star. Milena Dravić continued with long and prolific career during which she showed great talent and versatility. She was equally memorable and believable as the tragic heroine in state-sponsored World War II epics, eccentric protagonist of experimental arthouse films like WR: Mysteries of the Organism and romantic comedies. She especially excelled in the latter during 1970s and 1980s. She won the Cannes Best Supporting Actress Award in 1980 for Special Treatment. For her roles and contributions to domestic cinematography, she received the prestigious "Pavle Vujisić" award in August 1994. Milena Dravić was married three times. Her third husband was the prominent Serbian actor Dragan Nikolić, with whom she had co-hosted the popular 1970s television program Obraz uz obraz. She died on 14 October 2018, after a long battle with illness.

Carson was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of actress Karen Black (née Ziegler) and actor, producer, screenwriter and director L. M. Kit Carson. He is stepson of Stephen Eckelberry and stepbrother of Celine Eckelberry, Stephen's daughter. He made his first national appearance in October 1976, at the age of nine months, when his mother hosted "Saturday Night Live." During her opening monologue, Black held Hunter in her arms the entire time. Carson's first acting role was in the film Paris, Texas, portraying the character of Hunter Henderson. The film Paris, Texas was adapted for the screen by his father, L. M. Kit Carson. He played Bud Bundy in an unaired episode of Married... with Children. Hunter is also known for his role as David Gardner in the 1986 remake of Invaders from Mars, where he co-starred with his mother Karen Black. He plays a "crazy killer boyfriend" in the 2010 horror film She's Crushed. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University.
