Recorded before a sold-out audience at London's The Bridge in August earlier that year, it features 19 blistering hit singles and showcases Melanie's talent as both a writer and live performer. The DVD consists of two sets; an acoustic set and an electric set.

In Pagliacci, Álvarez is Canio, the leader of a traveling vaudeville troupe. Patricia Racette sings Nedda, his unfaithful young wife, whose plans to run away with her lover are foiled by her spurned admirer Tonio (George Gagnidze)—with equally tragic consequences. Met Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi is on the podium.

In February 2017, Journey went to Japan for a special show at Tokyo’s Budokan that featured a complete performance of 1981’s Escape and 1983’s Frontiers at the request of legendary Japanese concert promoter Mr. Udo in honor of his 50th anniversary in the business. “There’s a few songs I don’t even recall playing, like [the Frontiers track] ‘Troubled Child,” Journey guitarist Neal Schon told Rolling Stone at the time. “Digging back into that stuff has been a lot of fun.”

2022 marks 40 years since the release of the album “SAUDADE” (September 1982). With producer Narada Michael Walden and guest appearances by T.M. Stevens and Sheila E, this is a masterpiece of fusion that topped the album charts at the time.
