Birgitte Hjort Sørensen (born 16 January 1982) is a Danish actress. She has been nominated for three Robert Awards and one Bodil Award. Born in Hillerød and raised in Birkerød, Sørensen aspired to an acting career after watching the West End production of the musical Chicago while at school. She graduated from the Danish National School of Performing Arts. Her acting debut was in a minor role in the television series The Eagle in 2005. She followed this by playing Roxie Hart in a Copenhagen production of Chicago, and later on the West End. Sørensen's breakthrough role was as journalist Katrine Fønsmark in the television political drama Borgen (2010–2013). Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Alisa Lova

Biography

Alisa Lova, born Alisa Ibragimova, came to the United States with her family from Russia when she was six years old. Her mother was a concert pianist and cellist back in Russia. Alisa moved to New York with her family, where she grew up and still resides. She started acting when she was 14 years old. Her first showcase was on stage at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she took her first acting classes. Alisa worked on her craft all through college. She studied Meisner and Stanislavski at Brooklyn College, where she double majored in Theatre and Psychology and got her Bachelors Degree. Her first film was "Lost In The Woods" (2011 short), where she played the lead character Erika. Other lead roles that followed were, Jenny in "Zombie Or Not Zombie", (2011 horror short), Reagan in "The Assault" (2011 thriller short), and Jane in "Love Never Dies" (2011 short). 2011 was a blooming year for Alisa, as she kept booking more and more roles in film. Next she booked a role in "Her Perfect Peace", (2011 short), where she played a character named Claire, a supporting role. Following "Kim Jong Kill" (2011 short), where she played Summer, another supporting role. At that time, she also booked her first featured role on an episode of the TV show, "Scorned: Love Kills" (episode, Never Enough), on Discovery ID channel. In 2012, Alisa booked a role in her first feature film, "Supernaturalz", where she played Maris, a carjack victim. Next came "Killer Dinner Party" (2012 short), where she played Tiffany Banks, a high society woman. Then "Love And Deception" (2012), where she played Lola Stokes, a comedic character. The director thought she was so funny playing the character of Lola that he wrote and directed a short film based on that character for Alisa, which he titled "Lola". Next came "Hibbing" (short), where she played a Russian secret double agent, a supporting role. This film made it to the Big Apple Film Festival of 2013. Her most powerful performance was in an off-Broadway play called "Visions", which is an original play about addiction and recovery, where she played Maria. The play started in treatment centers to reach out to people in recovery. It made its way to the World Convention Center, in Philadelphia, in August 2013. Then it made its way off Broadway, to the stage of NYC Hudson Guild Theatre. When she's not acting, Alisa enjoys watching horror movies, playing pool, going bowling, and playing chess with friends. She also loves traveling to exotic places. She's been to the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Cancun, and Jamaica. Alisa is grateful to have the opportunity to travel and do what she loves.

Ted Christy

Biography

Ted Christy is a great example of somebody whose profession could take you all over the world and help you live life to the fullest. Both Ted and his brother Vic Christy were what you would call enhancement talents for the NWA and various other wrestling promotions. Their main jobs were to make the good guys look great without doing too much to take away from the appeal of the good guys popularity or momentum. He started out wrestling really young in the NWA, and various promotions based in Puerto Rico, Australia, and other countries throughout the world. Like many wrestlers, he couldn't stay in one territory too long or the fans would get tired of seeing him. He was known to be a really good guy and somebody who could take a good joke. Through his wrestling, he was able to obtain roles in a few movies in the early 1950s and he also managed to appear in an episode of the Twilight Zone portraying a wrestler on television screen. Christy continued to wrestle throughout the early 1960s when eventually he decided to retire. It was through his friendship with Mike Mazurki and other athletes that he was able to get into the Screen Extras Guild. This lead to him being cast as an extra and the occasional stunt double for Joe E. Ross on the television show It's About Time. When It's About Time was canceled after one season, Christy found himself appearing in an assortment of roles that were typically either a cowboy on shows like Gunsmoke or a hood on criminal shows like Kojak. His rough looking appearance made both he and his brother naturals to appear in Gunsmoke where he was well liked by the various crew members that worked with him. Though Christy passed away in 1976, he left lasting legacy of an entertainer who wrestled in front of thousands of people for over 30 years and who later transitioned into television and movies where he excelled at playing various roles while making many friends along the way.

Toi Lam

Biography

People's Artist Lâm Tới (1937 - 2000) was a famous Vietnamese actor, also known for his work as a director. His birth name is Lâm Thanh Tòng, born January 15, 1937 in My Hoi village, Cao Lanh district, Sa Dec province (now Dong Thap province). He had a difficult childhood, working as a keeper of rented buffaloes at the age of 7. Between 1949 and 1957, he studied and worked different positions for the armed forces. In August 1959, Lâm entered the first film school in Hanoi. In 1964, graduating with honors, he became an actor in a Vietnamese feature film studio and was chosen to play the role of Kinh in the film Hai người lính (Two Soldiers), which won the Golden Globe Prize in Czechoslovakia. He then continued acting in other films: Trên vĩ tuyến 17, Nổi gió, Nguyễn Văn Trỗi, Cuộc chiến đấu vẫn còn tiếp diễn, Đường về quê mẹ, Vĩ tuyến 17 ngày và đêm,... In Germany, April 1974, Lâm started as a student interning in film directing. After graduating, he resumed working as an actor and director at the Vietnamese Giai Phong Film Studio, participating in films such as: Giữa hai làn nước, Nắng đỏ, Lối rẽ trái trên con đường mòn,... His most prominent roles include Núi in "Đường về quê mẹ" (The Road to Motherland), Ba Đô in "Cánh đồng hoang" (The Abandoned Field: Free Fire Zone, 1979), Tám Quyện in "Mùa gió chướng" (Whirlwind Season, 1978),... He was awarded the title of Best Actor for his role of Tám Quyện at the Vietnam Film Festival in 1982. The film "Cánh đồng hoang" in which he stars won the Golden Prize and the Prix FIPRESCI at the 12th Moscow International Film Festival. During his lifetime, Lâm Tới was awarded the Third-class French Resistance War Medal, the Third-class Anti-American Resistance Order, the Badge of Ho Chi Minh City and the Medal of the Youth. He received the title of Distinguished Artist in 1984 and the title of People's Artist in 1997. He died on 27 November, 2000 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mikako Ichikawa is a Japanese actress and model from Tokyo, Japan. She became an exclusive model for the Japanese fashion magazine "Olive" in 1994. She left the position in 1998. After leaving the exclusive model position, she, then, appeared in magazines such as "CUTiE," "Zipper," "spoon," "Soen," and "GINZA," as well as made her acting debut in the short film "How to Jujitsu."
