Le Déluge

Louis XVI and his wife Marie Antoinette, the last kings and queens of France, were imprisoned with their two little children in a black castle on the outskirts of Paris waiting to be executed. A short time, condensed, where between violence and harassment, all the masks fell: that of the two royals as public and private figures; those of the old regime; those of History that definitively flew page, and that of God who from then on was eclipsed in the shadows, leaving man completely alone.
