The second is about the uncomplicated life of a bird, which, however, did not prevent her from publishing own memoirs. The last story, "Fathers and Sons" tells of the relationship of adults and offspring.

Munich, Germany, 1923. Two years have passed since Edward Elric was dragged from his own world to ours, leaving behind his country, his friends and his younger brother, Alphonse. Stripped of his alchemical powers, he has been all this time researching rocketry together with Alphonse Heiderich, a young man who resembles his own brother, hoping to one day find a way back home. His efforts so far had proven fruitless, but after lending a hand to a troubled gipsy girl, Edward is thrown in a series of events that can wreak havoc in both worlds. Meanwhile, at his own world, Alphonse Elric ventures deeper into the mysteries of alchemy in search for a way to reunite with his older brother.

The animation was produced for the Tezuka Osamu Manga Museum, thus it features scenes from the "life and nature" of Tezuka Osamu's childhood, themes that are central to the museum as a whole, through exchanges between the boy Osamu and the carabid beetle (Osamushi) who provided the origin for the artist's name.

The plot is based on the eponymous fable by Ivan Krylov.

"Beachworld" is set in the distant future. Federation ship ASN-29 crashed on an unknown planet, only two members of the crew survived - Shapiro and Rand. They find themselves on an uninhabited planet. Desert, that stretches out in all directions. No food and no water. Despair and insanity creep up on survivals, sand devours everything and very soon they discover that they are not alone on the planet.

The Hedgehog and the Bear decide to wipe the dust off the stars so their brightness won't fade out.
