Biography
An Egyptian actress of Syrian origins, born in 1945, she studied at the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts for only two and a half years, then began her artistic career in the early sixties, and at that time she was still using her real name (Shams al-Muluk), but soon she changed her nickname To be (Shams Al-Baroudi) after her family name.
After that, she had many roles in the cinema, which made her an icon of temptation in the history of Egyptian cinema, and among the films in which she participated: (The Malatilian Bath, Pleasure and Agony, El Amusement Street)
Shams Al-Baroudi has also been a mainstay in the films directed by her husband, actor Hassan Youssef, including (Cowardly and Love, Fat Cats, Two On the Road).
Shams Al-Baroudi decided in the mid-eighties to retire and wear the hijab after the trip that she made with her father to perform the Umrah rituals, and she disavowed all the works that she participated in.

Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award.
Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000).
Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama.
On 31 October 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Tian Zhuangzhuang

Tian Zhuangzhuang (simplified Chinese: 田壮壮; traditional Chinese: 田壯壯; pinyin: Tián Zhuàngzhuàng, Mandarin pronunciation: [tʰi̯ɛ̌n ʈʂu̯ɑ̂ŋʈʂu̯ɑ̂ŋ]; born April 1952 in Beijing, China) is a Chinese film director, producer and actor. Tian was born to an influential actor and actress in China. Following a short stint in the military, Tian began his artistic career first as an amateur photographer and then as an assistant cinematographer at the Beijing Agricultural Film Studio. In 1978 he was admitted to the Beijing Film Academy, where he formed the so-called Fifth Generation with Chen Kaige, Zhang Yimou, Peng Xiaolan and Wu Ziniu. His films The Horse Thief and The Blue Kite brought him international fame, but also problems with the Chinese censors that kept him from working in China. Lately, Tian is again active as director; his remake of Springtime in a Small Town was shown in Rotterdam in 2003.

Alain Robbe-Grillet
Biography
Alain Robbe-Grillet was a French writer and filmmaker. He was, along with Nathalie Sarraute, Michel Butor and Claude Simon, one of the figures most associated with the Nouveau Roman (new novel) trend. Alain Robbe-Grillet was elected a member of the Académie française on March 25, 2004, succeeding Maurice Rheims at seat No. 32. He was married to Catherine Robbe-Grillet (née Rstakian).
Robbe-Grillet's career as a creator of fiction was not restricted to the writing of novels. For him, creating fiction in the form of films was of equal importance. His film career began when Alain Resnais chose to collaborate with him on his 1961 film Last Year at Marienbad. The film was nominated for the 1963 Academy Award for Writing Original Screenplay and won the Golden Lion when it came out in 1961. In the credits it was presented as a film equally co-authored by Alain Robbe-Grillet and Alain Resnais.
Robbe-Grillet then went on to launch a career as a writer-director of a series of cerebral and often sexually provocative feature films which explored similar themes to those in his literary work (e.g. Voyeurism, The Body as Text, The 'Double'). He commenced with L'Immortelle (The Immortal One) (1962) which won the much-coveted Louis Delluc Prize of 1962. This was followed by his most commercially successful film after Last Year at Marienbad: Trans-Europ-Express (1966) starring Jean-Louis Trintignant, who continued to work with Robbe-Grillet on his next four films: his French-Slovak film L'homme qui ment/Muž, ktorý luže (The Man Who Lies) (1968), L'Eden et après/Eden a potom (Eden and After) (1970), Glissements progressifs du plaisir (Progressive Slidings towards Pleasure) (1974) and Le jeu avec le feu (Playing with Fire) (1975). It was almost a decade before the appearance of his next feature film, La belle captive (The Beautiful Captive) (1983), but Alain Robbe-Grillet was fortunate enough to enlist the services of Henri Alekan as cinematographer, the visionary master of cinematography for the films of Jean Cocteau. Subsequently more than a decade passed before Alain Robbe-Grillet got behind the lens again, this time filming a mystery thriller on a small Greek island with Fred Ward starring as the confused Frank in Un bruit qui rend fou. Robbe-Grillet (A Maddening Noise, aka: The Blue Villa) (1995). Before his death in 2008 Robbe-Grillet was to direct one more film, Gradiva (C'est Gradiva qui vous appelle) (2006) which brought once more to the fore his preoccupation with sadism and bondage in his fiction. Perhaps the best introduction to the film works of Alain Robbe-Grillet is the volume The Erotic Dream Machine by Professors Roch C.Smith and Anthony N. Fragola. Also of great value is the volume In the Temple of Dreams: The Writer on the Screen in which Robbe-Grillet himself explains the relationship between his literary fiction and his cinematic fiction (ed. Edouard d'Araille, 1996).

Ragasiya (also known as Ragasiya Shivsagar or Vedica Shivsagar), born on 25 September 1988 is an Indian actress, runway model, and theater artist.
Ragasiya is trained in various dance styles. She learned kathak from Guru Viru Maharaj and later from Habiba and Saroj Khan. She then learned hip-hop under Ganesh Hegde and was trained in salsa by Sandeep Soparkar.
She started her career as an assistant choreographer to Pony Verma, Longie Fernandes, Raju Khan and later she started doing theaters with Gary Richardson for Mad Horses. She started her modelling career by doing catalogue shoot for "roopam" owned by Viren Shah, walked on ramp for Nisha Jhampwal, Umer Zafer. Saran who also rechristened her as Ragasiya. After that she did many promotional item numbers mostly in Tamil films. She has also played supporting roles in films like Indira Vizha and Velmurugan Borewells.

Len Garry
Biography
Len Garry played tea chest bass in the Quarry Men in 1957 and 1958, when they were still doing some skiffle tunes. They did rock'n'roll too, but tea chest bass was part of the instrumentation for many young British groups of the time, not only because it fit in with the skiffle repertoire, but also because it was less expensive than an electric bass and amp. Garry was a student at the Liverpool Institute, where Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and another early Quarry Men member, Ivan Vaughan, all went to school. In about mid-1957 he replaced one of the most obscure Quarry Men, Bill Smith, on tea chest bass after getting introduced to the band through his friend Vaughan. Garry's time in the Quarry Men ended in 1958 when, at the age of 16, he contracted tubercular meningitis and was hospitalized, lapsing into a coma and almost dying. In truth his time in the band was probably nearly up anyway, not only because Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison were closing ranks, but also because as skiffle faded in popularity, so did the need for and desirability of a tea chest bass. Garry was not involved in the Quarry Men reunion recording Open for Engagements in 1994, but did play with ex-Quarry Men Rod Davis, Eric Griffiths, Pete Shotton, and Colin Hanton on the 40th anniversary of the Quarry Men gig at which John Lennon and Paul McCartney first met.
