Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Sunny is a character actor with good screen presence. He is also an accomplished martial artist, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) coach, Action Director and Fight Choreographer. He has appeared in numerous short films and TV serials (including the highly successful Code of Law on Mediacorp Ch5). He has an impressive list of movie credits that include Call If You Need Me, One Last Dance, The Maid and Perth. Michael Ontkean

Biography

Michael Leonard Ontkean (born January 24, 1946) is a Canadian retired actor. Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Ontkean relocated to the United States to attend the University of New Hampshire on a hockey scholarship before pursuing a career in acting in the early 1970s. He initially came to prominence portraying Officer Willie Gillis on the crime drama series The Rookies from 1972 to 1974, followed by lead roles in the hockey sports comedy film Slap Shot (1977) and the romantic comedy Willie & Phil (1980). In 1982, he had a starring role opposite Harry Hamlin and Kate Jackson in the drama Making Love, in which he portrayed a married man who comes to terms with his homosexuality. Ontkean continued to appear in films, such as Clara's Heart (1988) and Postcards from the Edge (1990) before being cast as Sheriff Harry S. Truman on David Lynch's Twin Peaks (1990–1991), the role for which he is best known.

Ana Valeria Becerril

Biography

Ana Valeria, a young Mexican actress, began her acting career at the age of 15, dabbling in theater with the Macramé Collective. At the end of 2016 she filmed her first movie, "Las Hijas de Abril" by the multi-award winning director, Michel Franco, where she shared the screen with Emma Suérez (Julieta, 2016). Her participation took her to the Cannes Film Festival, where the film was awarded the Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section. For her performance she was recognized with the Female Promise Award at the CANACINE Awards and Best Female Revelation at the 60th Ariel Award Ceremony 2018. We can also see her in the feature film "Muerte al verano" and soon in "Los días que no estuve" and "Mi novia es la revolución"; as well as the series "Control Z" produced by Netflix.

He is best known for his roles in box-office hits such as Three Amigos (1986), The Godfather Part III (1990), Forget Paris (1995) and Up Close & Personal (1996). He currently stars in the CBS television series Criminal Minds as FBI Special Agent David Rossi. Mantegna has gained Emmy Award nominations for his roles in three different miniseries, The Last Don (1997), The Rat Pack (1999) and The Starter Wife (2007). Mantegna served as executive producer for various movies and television movies, such as Corduroy (1984), Hoods (1998), and Lakeboat (2000), which he also directed. On television, Mantegna starred in the short lived series First Monday (2002) and Joan of Arcadia (2003–2005). Since the 1991 episode "Bart the Murderer", Mantegna has had a recurring role on the animated comedy series The Simpsons as mob boss Fat Tony, reprising the role in The Simpsons Movie (2007). He also played Robert B. Parker's fictional detective Spenser in three made-for-TV movies between 1999 and 2001. Kenne Fant

Biography

Carl-Henrik "Kenne" Fant (1 January 1923 – 29 May 2016) was a Swedish actor, director, and writer. He was born in Strängnäs. His older brother George was also an actor. Fant studied at Dramatens elevskola from 1945–1949, and was at the Royal Dramatic Theatre from 1949 - 1950. He was hired as director of the Nordic Tone Film 1952 -1962, and became production manager of Swedish Film Industry (SF) in 1962. He was appointed CEO of SF from 1963. In 1980 he resigned to become a freelance writer. His 1962 film Adventures of Nils Holgersson was entered into the 3rd Moscow International Film Festival. In 1991, he published a biography of Alfred Nobel that included many references to the extensive collection of Nobel's letters. Jeffrey Glenn "Jeff" Bennett (born October 2, 1962) is an American voice actor, best known as the voice of Johnny Bravo in the series of the same name. When voicing Johnny, he made his voice sound like that of Elvis Presley. He is also famous for voicing Petrie in The Land Before Time series from the second film onward. Bennett also took over for two actors who played different characters in the Star Wars series: as Jango Fett who was originally portrayed by actor Temuera Morrison and as Count Dooku who was originally played by Christopher Lee in Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter. Bennett also played Jango Fett for Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. Bennett has been listed "among the top names in the voice-over field".
