Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.   The Chiodo Brothers (Stephen, Charles & Edward Chiodo, all born in Bronx, New York) are a group of sibling special effects artists, best known for their film Killer Klowns from Outer Space and creating puppets and effects for films such as Critters, Ernest Scared Stupid, and Team America: World Police. They created the elaborate dioramas featured in the 2010 film Dinner for Schmucks. The post-hardcore band Chiodos (originally called The Chiodos Bros) is named after them as a tribute. Their studio made the Willice and Crimbles claymation segment on The Simpsons, a parody of Wallace and Gromit in the same style of animation. Wallace and Gromit creator Nick Park voiced himself in the episode, as the creator of the fictional short. William Holly Johnson (born 9 February 1960) is an English artist, musician, and writer, best known as the lead vocalist of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, who achieved huge commercial success in the mid-1980s. Prior to that, in the late 1970s he was a bassist for the band Big in Japan. In 1989, Johnson's debut solo album, Blast, reached number one in the UK albums chart. Two singles from the album – "Love Train" and "Americanos" – reached the top 5 of the UK Singles Chart. In the 1990s, he also embarked on writing, painting, and printmaking careers.

Pracę artystyczną rozpoczął w czasach okupacji jako aktor-amator. W latach 1948-1952 występował w Teatrze Kolejarza w Krakowie. Od 1953 związany z Teatrem im. Wandy Siemaszkowej w Rzeszowie. Stworzył tu wiele wybitnych kreacji aktorskich, m.in. Cześnika w "Zemście", Majora w "Fantazym", Wojewody w "Mazepie" czy Czepca w "Weselu". W latach 1972-1982 pracował w Teatrze Polskim i Współczesnym we Wrocławiu. Od 1983 ponownie występował w Rzeszowie. Wystąpił w wielu filmach fabularnych (m.in. Człowiek z marmuru jako ojciec Agnieszki) oraz serialach telewizyjnych (m. in. Królowa Bona jako Zygmunt I Stary). Widzowie zapamiętali jego rolę w popularnym serialu telewizyjnym 07 zgłoś się, gdzie zagrał porucznika Antoniego Zubka. Odznaczony m.in. Krzyżem Kawalerskim Orderu Odrodzenia Polski. A member of the Redgrave family, she was the daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave and director/producer Tony Richardson and the granddaughter of Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson. Early in her career, she portrayed Mary Shelley and Patty Hearst in feature films, and she received critical acclaim and a Theatre World Award for her Broadway debut in the 1993 revival of Anna Christie. She won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical, and the Outer Critics Circle Award for her performance as Sally Bowles in the 1998 Broadway revival of Cabaret. Some of her notable films included Patty Hearst (1988), The Handmaid's Tale (1990), Nell (1994), The Parent Trap (1998) and Maid in Manhattan (2002). Her first marriage to filmmaker Robert Fox ended in divorce in 1992. In 1994, she married Irish actor Liam Neeson, whom she had met when the two appeared in Anna Christie. The couple had two sons, Micheál and Daniel. Richardson's father died of AIDS-related causes in 1991. She helped raise millions of dollars in the fight against AIDS through the charity amfAR, the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Tshering Phintso Denzongpa, widely known by his acting name "Danny" Denzongpa (born 25 February 1948) is an Indian actor of Sikkimese ancestry working in Bollywood films. Denzongpa was born in the state of Sikkim, at that time an independent Bhutia monarchy. He is an ethnic Bhutia and speaks Bhutia as his mother tongue. He started his career by singing Indian and Nepali songs and acting in Indian and Nepali movies. His nepali song "Kaanchi lai ghumaune Kathmandu Sahara" is still famous among Nepali people after 2 decades. He has acted in numerous Hindi films such as Asoka and 16 December. He has also starred in some international projects, the most famous being Seven Years in Tibet where he acted alongside Hollywood actor Brad Pitt. In 2003, Denzongpa was awarded the Padma Shree, India's fourth highest civilian honour. Denzongpa is noted for his villainous and character roles. He started dabbling in the brewing industry after 1982, and in 2009, his company Yuksom Breweries, which has three breweries in Sikkim, Orissa and Assam, and sells over three million cases, acquired Rhino Breweries in Assam, to thwart industry leader United Breweries’ (UB) plans to take over the North East market. Aidan Murphy (born 24 April 1968), better known as Aidan Gillen, is an Irish actor. Glen was born in London, England to a British mother and American father. Raised in Portland, OR, Glen attended the University of Oregon on a baseball scholarship, and played baseball professionally for three years after his graduation. He began modeling in his twenties, before training as a USAF Military Special Forces Pararescue (PJ). Glen started acting in his thirties, and has continued to do so ever since, in a variety of television, film, commercial, infomercial, and voice roles. Deneen Tyler is a native of New Orleans with over twenty years of film, television and voice over experience. Like many critically acclaimed actresses, Deneen began her acting career in theatre. Armed with an opportunity given by a friend, her first public performance was at the Black Theater Festival. From there she was cast as Rose in a local production of August Wilson's Fences, at LePetit Theatre in New Orleans, La. Thanks to the Louisiana Tax Incentive, Hollywood literally came to the South. Not long thereafter, Deneen was cast in The Skeleton Key, Big Momma's House 2 and Hurricane Season, as well as television series Friday Night Lights and Treme, just to name a few.
