Biography

Kiki Kapor rođen je na Korčuli 1932., a na daske teatra u Frankopanskoj stao je već kao student zagrebačke Akademije kazališne umjetnosti, u prvoj premijeri novoosnovanog Zagrebačkog dramskog kazališta - "Golgoti" Miroslava Krleže u režiji dr. Branka Gavelle. Od tada niže uloge koje su obilježile hrvatsko glumište. Njegova dugogodišnja karijera započela je 1958. godine u TV seriji "Svemirska Patrola". Slijede uloge u poznatim serijama: "Prosjaci i sinovi" (1972) redatelja Antuna Vrdoljaka, "U Registraturi" (1974) redatelja Joakima Marušića te u seriji "Velo Misto" (1980) istoga redatelja. Te u filmovima: "San o Ruži" (1986) Zorana Tadića, "Život sa Stricem" (1988) Krste Papića, "Treća žena" (1997) Zorana Tadića, 'Maršal" (1999) Vinka Brešana. Ljubomir Kiki Kapor posljednjih godina aktivan je u kazalištu i brojnim televizijskim serijama.

Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. He was born in Marienburg, West Prussia (now Malbork, Poland) and died in Hollywood, California. He was one of the founders of the American Society of Cinematographers. Lena Headey

Lena Kathren Headey (born 3 October 1973) is a British actress. She gained international recognition and acclaim for her portrayal of Cersei Lannister on the HBO epic fantasy drama series Game of Thrones (2011–2019), for which she received five Primetime Emmy Award nominations and a Golden Globe Award nomination. Headey made her film debut in the mystery drama Waterland (1992). She continued to work steadily in British and American films and on television, before gaining further recognition with her lead performances in the films The Brothers Grimm (2005) and 300 (2007). Her other film credits include The Remains of the Day (1993), The Jungle Book (1994), Mrs Dalloway (1997), Ripley's Game (2002), Imagine Me & You (2005), Dredd (2012), The Purge (2013), 300: Rise of an Empire (2014), Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016), and Fighting with My Family (2019). Hermann Seldeneck

Biography

The actor Hermann Seldeneck was a very busy movie actor of the 10s whose film career limited nearly exclusively to this decade. He began his acting career at the theater in Regensburg in 1882, it followed other engagements in different cities in Germany and Switzerland. Finally he also appeared on stage in the Russia metropolises St. Petersburg and Moscow for a while. When he returned to Germany he managed his path till to the German theater center in Berlin. In Berlin he soon got in touch with the new arising film business and he appeared already in "Schuld und Sühne" in front of the camera for the first time. From 1915 his activities in film continued to expand and his mostly formidable roles entertained large audiences. In 1920 he acted in his last films, he then acted again in the theater before he died in 1922 at the age of only 57. One of Hermann Seldeneck's ancestors was the famous natural scientist Alexander von Humboldt.

Ulrich Matthes was born in Berlin. He studied acting in the early 1980's in Berlin under Else Bongers. Ulrich Matthes studied German and English, because he really wanted to become a teacher, so he also took private acting lessons during his studies. His first engagement brought him to the Vereinigte Bühnen in Krefeld, where he played the title role in "Prinz Friedrich von Homburg". Later he came to Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus, the Bavarian State Theatre, the Munich Studio Theater and the Schaubühne place. Since the 2004/2005 season, he is member of the ensemble at Deutsches Theater in Berlin. In the 2004 movieThe Ninth Day, he plays Fr. Henri Kremer, a Catholic priest imprisoned at Dachau. In 2005 he was voted "Actor of the Year" by 'Theater heute' magazine for his performance in Edward Albees' "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?". Elizabeth Bradley (20 May 1922 - 29 October 2000) was an English actress, perhaps most famous for playing battle-axe Maud Grimes in the fictional soap Coronation Street. Bradley was born Joan Abraham in Hampstead, London, and took her mother's maiden name as her stage surname. She started acting professionally at the age of 23. She married actor Garth Adams in 1950, and was so until his death in 1977 - they had three children. Bradley's most famous role was as Maud Grimes in Coronation Street in old age, from 1993-1999. She filmed 476 episodes during this time. She has also made appearances in The Bill, Casualty, Bad Girls and The Sweeney. Sabine Impekoven

Biography

Toni Impekoven 's sister made her debut in 1907 at the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Städtisches Schauspielhaus in Berlin, to whose ensemble she belonged until 1912. This year she was seen in a silent film for the first time.The films in which she appeared were short grotesque comedies and melodramas typical of the period. On several occasions she was the partner of her husband Leo Peukert . In addition, she continued to act in theaters in Berlin, for example at the Lustspielhaus. After a car accident in 1926, in which she suffered severe burns, she limited herself to representational tasks at her husband's side. The grave of Sabine Impekoven and Leo Peukert is in the Munich Forest Cemetery .

Manoush is an actress and singer. Manoush was born 1972 or 1973 as Manoush Barandaj or Manoush Barandyai in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer as the third child of a mother of French Manouche Sinti and Ashkali origin and a German-American father. She was raised in Haarlem, North Holland, Cologne, (Germany) and Biel, Switzerland. At the age of 18, Manoush began modelling, but her career stopped short at age 20 after a car accident left scars on her stomach and legs. She immigrated to the United States in the summer of 2006 and returned to Europe approx. in 2015. Manoush pursued film in 1997. In 2000, she was offered the role of the "nymphomaniac" in Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Amélie, which opened many doors in the film and TV industry for Manoush, as well as establishing her as a "bad girl". Manoush often gets credit as an action and horror actress or as a professional in roles which can be intense and difficult to play. In 2004 she played fighter Carda in Angel of Death 2, closely followed by Timo Rose's The Legend of Moonlight Mountain (2005), Marian Dora's Cannibal (2006), Timo Rose's Barricade (2007), and Andrey Iskanov's Philosophy of a Knife (2008). Manoush won Best Supporting Actress in 2011 at the PollyGrind Film Festival in Las Vegas for her role as Olga in The Super. She started out as a cyberpunk singer. Besides her acting and writing career, she worked as a singer in the band Cyanide Savior alongside her husband, Chris Vazquez. Kendall Windham

Biography

Kendall Wayne Windham is an American retired professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, Kendall Windham. He is the son of Blackjack Mulligan and the brother of Barry Windham. He is best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling. Kendall Windham started wrestling in 1985 for Championship Wrestling from Florida. He was very skinny but had the same moves and looks as his older brother, Barry. In his early days, he was a good guy (face) and teamed with Barry to feud with Ron Bass, Jack Hart and Kevin Sullivan's "cult". His biggest singles feuds were with White Ninja AKA Great Muta and The Cuban Assassin. He traded the Florida Heavyweight Title a few times with each of them. In 1987, he ventured to the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions where he teamed with The Italian Stallion and feuded with the MOD Squad, Spike & Basher. He never got above preliminary status and went to WCCW briefly at the end of 1988. In January 1989, he was back in the NWA teaming with another second generation wrestler, Dustin Rhodes, as the "Texas Broncos". In a match aired on January 28, 1989, Kendall teamed with Eddie Gilbert against his brother Barry and James J. Dillon of The Four Horsemen. Kendall turned on Gilbert and joined Barry and held up the four fingers to the camera. Before the next show, Dillon left for the WWF and the Horsemen name was dropped. The Windhams and Flair were given a new manager, Hiro Matsuda, and a new stable name, "Yamasaki Corporation". Kendall stayed with the stable (which grew to include Butch Reed and Michael Hayes) until the summer, when he left for Florida again. On June 27, 1989, Windham won the FCW Heavyweight Championship from Dustin Rhodes. He obtained a new manager, Oliver Humperdink, and feuded with Rhodes. He soon left Humperdink for Robert Fuller's Stud Stable and by the end of 1989, was a member of Ron Slinker's "Strike Command". In 1990, he left Slinker and teamed with Fuller to win the Tag Team Titles, Upon losing them, they split and feuded. Windham returned to WCW in 1997 with his head shaved and feuded with Chris Adams and Jim Duggan. In 1999, when WCW created a hardcore division, he entered it briefly and feuded with Hardcore Hak. In June, Windham joined The West Texas Rednecks in what would be the biggest push of his career. The Rednecks were his brother Barry, Curt Hennig and Bobby Duncum Jr. They were supposed to be heels feuding with Master P's rappers, The No Limit Soldiers, but the southern fans of WCW cheered the Rednecks instead. The angle was quickly dropped and they moved on to a feud with Harlem Heat. Kendall and Barry defeated Harlem Heat for the WCW World Tag Team Title's but lost them back to Harlem Heat three weeks later. In 1990, Windham and his father Blackjack Mulligan were arrested by the US Secret Service in a joint investigation with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for counterfeiting. The authorities found close to $500,000 in phony $20 bills. As a result of a plea agreement, both father and son spent 24 months in a federal prison and were released in 1992.
