The Sanjoan folklore groups of Vila do Conde – Rancho do Monte and Rancho da Praça – tell their stories, traditions and, above all, rivalries, in a very contemporary and unusual way: through a ranch battle.

A documentary that revives the memory of the Technical Industrial School of Santa Maria through the voices of former teachers and retired staff, revealing not only how these individuals helped shape and strengthen the institution, but also how CTISM marked and transformed their lives, intertwining individual destinies and collective memory into a living portrait of technical education in Brazil.

The film focuses on three male and one female soldier. They represent the challenges that the German army is currently facing: the Bundeswehr has too few personnel, too little equipment and for many years was not prepared for the type of war that it must now prepare for in the future. The film reflects the dramatic change from the perspective of those who have to shoulder the task of "national and alliance defense" in a very concrete and personal way in their everyday lives, at their location, in their unit.

Whether victims of sexual, parental, psychological, or accidental violence, their bodies, now crime scenes, are examined with infinite delicacy by this seasoned forensic scientist who, for forty years, has been collecting often heartbreaking accounts of assault. In the confidentiality of his consultation room, other hidden and sometimes long-buried sufferings are finally revealed. Here, victims lay the first stone of their recovery and begin their long legal journey. This film offers a sensitive immersion into the daily life of this medico-legal unit, where the anatomy of everyday violence is revealed.

A young woman searches for traces of herself through a prehistoric monument engulfed by the urban landscape. Driven by a persistent feeling of déjà vu, she returns to the place where she grew up, repeating gestures of observation, collecting and photographic development in an attempt to recover a memory that may never have existed. Between ritual, the analogue darkroom and fragments of the landscape, she builds an intimate archive where memory, imagination and reality become intertwined.

The documentary reveals the unique artistic collaboration between visual artist JR, former Daft Punk member Thomas Bangalter, and choreographer Damien Jalet. By combining their respective talents, they created "Chiroptera": 154 dancers from around the world perched on the scaffolding of the Palais Garnier in Paris. Together, they offer us an extraordinary performance. In the fall of 2023, the Paris Opera asked artist JR to transform the construction site on the façade of the Palais Garnier into a creative playground. By inviting Damien Jalet and Thomas Bangalter to create a performance for 154 dancers with him, he embarks on a human and artistic adventure with complex technical challenges. This documentary takes us behind the scenes of this show. How will the challenge be met?
