An unsold CBS pilot about a mailman named Deacon, who gets entangled in a mess involving a team of Bail Enforcement Agents (bounty hunters who chase after people who have ‘skipped’ bail).

This pilot for a TV version of the critically acclaimed feature Diner (1982) focused on the complaints of the wives, Elyse and Beth, that their husbands were spending too much time hanging at the diner with their friends.

The drama is about a wheelchair-bound, working-class father in Rhode Island who's forced to build a new life with his family.

Dr. Gordon Wayne is a world-renowned heart surgeon who's haunted by a past failure. Sarah Coleman is a brainy medical student who falls out of favor with her professors because she challenges the establishment; and Dr. Kevin Spitz is a neurosurgeon with shaky ethics. The three of them are recruited by the mysterious Mr. Swissky to further his efforts in his studies of teratology: the scientific study of unusual biological monstrosities and malformations.

A few days later, a special warfare team led by the captain Gao Qiang, escorting Dr. Chen, a scientist of the Kwon Plant Group, goes to the laboratory to rescue the trapped people and try to retrieve the relevant scientific research data

Dean returns to his small town home where he finds the tight-knit community is still against him. When his live-wire older brother Jon ignites local tensions the brothers retreat into the wilderness with their hunting gear. As an old animosity resurfaces they begin to suspect that Deer is not the only prey being hunted. The higher they climb into mountainous terrain the closer they get to the truth that separates them.

"I chose to tell this story from the point of view of the Neighbour, not only because I find his perspective interesting when it comes to this issue, but also because the issue of domestic violence is so heavy and everyone has their own connotations towards it, which is why this film, for me, is not about domestic violence, but rather the influence of it. This allows me to explore a whole range of emotions and feelings, and be able to show them with greater depth by taking us away from the direct environment in which this abuse takes place, and put us somewhere close enough to still reach out to it.
