A veteran US Secret Service agent must thwart the covert conspiracy of an enemy spy network that threatens the world's safety.

In Tupelo, Mississippi, in 1962, a poor, young, single mother is impregnated by a womanizing has-been singer. Her mother tries to force her to give the child away but our heroine isn't sure. As she tries to solve her problems she receives assistance from unlikely quarters: a lesbian gang and the feminist/nudist/stripper/adult film star they idolize.

The wife of a successful chef feels unfulfilled in her rôle as dining-room hostess and consults career counselor, who is herself dissatisfied by her useful but mundane place in the scheme of things. Without meaning to, the two women find their lives growing tangled together, with ever more complex tragicomic consequences.

This film version was released before the premiere of the full two-part television version (The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson: The Twentieth Century Approaches). In this version the entire plot of the story “Bruce-Partington Drawings” was deleted.

The film follows the life of a poor, old woman defying the hierarchy in the village. Irazca is an old woman who lives with her son Kara Bayram, her daughter-in-law Hatice, and three grandchildren. The headman of the village sells a lot from the common land of the village to Haceli. The family does not want a house to be built in front of their house and struggles against the tricks of the headman and Haceli.

In the mansion of a rich family living in Istanbul, a very valuable necklace is stolen. Suspecting that the thief is someone from inside the house, the owners start to approach the people working in the house with class differences and prejudices. The thieves realize that the necklace is fake.
