Fugazi's Last Stop in Wisconsin

An electric transition. The void left by a vice disguised as false promise to escape, is reclaimed by a new frequency, louder, colder, more transcending: C.R.Y.S.T.A.L. (Cognitive Rupture Yielding Synthetic Trance and Luminality). Through a synesthesia of stroboscopic light and sound pulses that pierce the viewer's consciousness, this short film is a sensorial trance that documents the disintegration of an individual. There's no narrative, only the vibration of a substance that reprograms the body until light is the only thing left within them. A feedback loop where the flash is, at the same time, consumption and the end of being.

Out of Office is the story of a scrappy group of office workers in Wisconsin who managed to pull off a major victory for workers’ rights. Upon their contract’s expiration, the workers activated their dormant union and fought back against their employer - a massive financial services provider making record profits. Their fight dragged out for over 600 days and included the first strike in the company’s almost 100-year history, which was the largest labor action in Wisconsin for over ten years. A rank-and-file member of the union documented the entire struggle, and the documentary includes emotional interviews with key members of the fight.

Indie rock icons the Archers of Loaf reunited in 2011, and during the course of their reunion tour played two legendary concerts at Cat’s Cradle in Chapel Hill, NC. In order to spread its unique political concept and to make the background to its activities appear transparent and credible to the voting public, the APPD commissioned a renowned film production company to create a loose mixture of subliminal propaganda and sympathetic trivialization. The film was also to focus on the glorification of the APPD politicians appearing in the election campaign in order to create the basis for a profitable cult of personality.
