Daughter explores the way women are viewed in society by following three female characters on a Friday night out in St Kilda, who's lives become entwined and affected by an act of violence this fateful night. The award winning short film and an awareness project was inspired by the tragic murder cases of Jill Meagher in Brunswick and St Kilda's own Tracy Connelly, whose occupation as a sex worker was highlighted in the media, leading to her murder and personal story being sadly overshadowed. The main themes explored in the film are violence against women and victim blaming, shown through the eyes of three female leads, lead by Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why) as Scarlett, Aisha Tara (Heartbreak High) as Jemma and Carolyn Rey as Alethea.

It represents an insight into the motivation and behavior of the offender, tactics used by note passers and armed robbers versus bank personnel or law enforcement officers, and what scenarios are needed to activate the silent alarm or not. Also uses actual black and white surveillance photographs, chosen from those taken during real robberies or taken by news photographers.

Morning After the Deluge is a large-scale, single-projection video installation, preferably presented in a dedicated room where the projected image is directed onto a free-standing screen. The work features two pieces of real-time footage that the artist filmed in Cape Cod, Massachusetts – one a sunset over the Atlantic Ocean and the other a sunrise on Cape Cod Bay – that are merged together and presented on a continual loop. As the sun slowly disappears into the ocean on one side, it rises out of the water on the other. In this new arrangement, the usual figure-ground relationship is upended: the sun becomes a fixed point at the centre of the image while the horizon line becomes unfixed, slowly wandering across the frame from top to bottom.
