For a short comedy of rare merit this subject is unexcelled. A chalk line series of grotesque caricatures enacted in the land of puppets. A fickle maiden gets herself into numerous embarrassing complications with her host of admirers, but the artist with lightning rapidity overcomes all obstacles and brings the maiden out victorious.

A young boy’s toys come to life through animation.

At the beginning of this film two women come onstage dressed in Oriental fashion. They present a shadow play theatre.

Three young children set up a table, and on the table is placed a miniature stage. The stage curtain opens, a carpet appears, and then the carpet unrolls by itself. Two puppet figures then come out and begin to perform a series of routines.

5 Meters 80 really is an absurd movie. Yet, no matter how ridiculous, Nicolas Deveaux managed to make it look so realistic that it’s as if giraffes jumping off the high dive are the most natural thing in the world. And that’s what makes it amazing.

Series of animated vignettes linked by a disembodied hand which appears to be drawing the illustrations. In the first segment, the hand turns around a drawing of an old man and canine-hero Rin Tin Tin magically appears. In the second set of segments, drawings of children morph into adults who look completely unlike their youthful countenances. in the final segment, the hand slices up "The House That Jack Built" into the pictures of the most significant characters in the children's rhyme, and then reattaches the slips of paper to reform the house.

A group of farm animals run away and form an a cappella quartet. Four animals discover their talent singing together and try to use their newfound quartet to make it through life.

A child from the middle of a large forest watches people walking along the sidewalk from the top of a wall. At the end of the day, he returns home, smiling. He has his own unique perspective from his observations atop the wall.

A young man looks out of his window, trying to see the stars. The city is too bright, preventing him from doing so. Disappointed, he decides to leave the city. His car journey takes him to a hill that he considers ideal. He sets up his tent there. He is happy.

As the mysterious “bloated belly” disease spreads through their kingdom, Princess Molly teams up with Léon the bear to outwit a conniving storyteller.

A little boy steps in to a new world. The mother of the four-year-old Jonas brings him to his first swimming lesson. Jonas is scared and wants to go home. While trying to escape, he falls into the deep bath and nobody notices him. While floating on his swimming wings he has to try to rescue himself.
