The daily life of a female teacher appears calm and ordinary at first glance. However, behind her back, her husband, an elite teacher who works at the same school, continues to torture her with sadistic sex. After almost following her everywhere, saving her from goons few times, Rambabu gets frustrated and asks her what she wants him to do to prove his love for her. The girl asks him to kill Basava Raju (Prakash Raj) and company, as a revenge for killing her honest cop father (Nasser) and her entire family. Rambabu goes after the goons and kills them one by one and finally unites with Nandini.

This well-acted drama about an Irishman just released from jail is filled with rich characterization. The story is adapted from a stage play by Walter Macken who also plays the role of the ex-convict Paddo in this screen version. Direction is by J. Fielder Cook. Once Paddo returns home after being sentenced to five years for killing a man, his old friends try to put him back in their niche of local hero but Paddo will have none of it. He is disillusioned and changed. His son Willie (Arthur Kennedy) walks with a limp that keeps him too self-conscious to assert himself as he would like with the young woman of his dreams. While other people come in and out of Paddo's life, from his taciturn friend the trapper to the local tinker, it is Paddo's son Willie suffering from his own disability who makes the difference in his father's life.

Meus Amores no Rio is a thin romantic comedy about a young woman (Suzana Freyre) who wins a trip to Rio de Janeiro on a television quiz show. Being both young and attractive and excited about the city, she manages to enchant three different men. The first man to fall for her is a pilot, and then there is the journalist, and then a womanizer.... Each encounter reveals more of the city and its impressive vistas, a fourth important protagonist in this film.

This immensely successful remake of the 1929 foustanella classic was directed by Dinos Dimopoulos and quickly established its stars (Dimitris Papamichael and the beautiful Aliki Vouyouklaki) as the Greek cinema's top box-office draws. The story itself rigidly follows the conventions of its subgenre, although because Greek filmmakers were still churning out foustanellas for decades afterward, it hardly seems more dated than the original. Once again, it tells the tale of Mitros (Titos Vandis), a wealthy herd owner with a foster daughter named Astero (Vouyouklaki) whom he marries off to another herd owner, despite the fact that she and his son Thimios (Papamichael) are desperately in love. The other herd owner dies and Astero loses her mind a bit (although she doesn't wig out quite as spectacularly as Aliki Theodoridou in the silent original), but Mitros finally comes to the right decision and allows the children to marry.

In a fictional dystopian country where both the police and the politicians are controlled by a shadowy criminal organization, a famous writer, joined by the leader of an underground resistance movement, embarks on an investigation into the murder of his best friend, who was killed under suspicous circumstances.

Youth, and life in general, is anything but glamorous for a group of students and their families. Romantic woes and confused sexuality for both young and old, internal and external parental conflict and feelings of isolation ....
