The film follows the journey of fellow "mat moto", also known as bikers, who share the same interest in motorsport. On a journey across Malaysia, the bikers discover the true meaning of friendship and the joy of sharing the same hobby.

It is a movie following the coming-of-age for a boy; the story begins in the mid-60s, continues all through the 70s, and finishes in 1981. He is a creative young man facing the troubles of the first pangs of love and we observe the way he tries to handle them within his social surroundings, his family, and environment.

As the BBC makes its exit from the iconic west London site of Television Centre, BBC Four presents a special night of celebration of the building and its 53-year history. An Emergency Services Operator in a Fire Control Room has just started a long night shift when she picks up a call from a desperate young mother. An hour previously, Gemma had fallen asleep in front of the television and has now woken to find the room full of smoke. Her three year old son is trapped in his bedroom upstairs. Flames have started to creep down the stairs that Gemma must use in order to reach him. The operator’s guidance is all that Gemma can rely on in order to survive.

This action is observed by another washer, Kate, who, her jealousy ill-concealed, watches the young couple. Later, as all the washers are busy by the stream, the young squire accompanied by a friend, rides up. Dismounting, he perceives Mary's pretty face and graceful manners, and endeavors to kiss her. As she struggles to free herself, the squire's friend quickly snap-shots the scene. Kate has been a witness of the affair, and, following the squire, she tells him of a way to be revenged.
