An American teenager who is obsessed with Hong Kong cinema and kung-fu classics makes an extraordinary discovery in a Chinatown pawnshop: the legendary stick weapon of the Chinese sage and warrior, the Monkey King. Judith Fontaine is looking for her sister Joanie, who has disappeared into the hippie community of Venice, California. The luxury liner Titanic 2000 has set sail on its maiden voyage, and one of the passengers is the vampire Vladamina.
