The San Francisco Symphony (SFS), founded in 1911, is an American orchestra based in San Francisco, California. Since 1980 the orchestra has been resident at the Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall in the city's Hayes Valley neighborhood. The San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra (founded in 1981) and the San Francisco Symphony Chorus (1972) are part of the organization. Since 1995, Michael Tilson Thomas has been the orchestra's music director. Tilson Thomas is scheduled to conclude his tenure as the orchestra's music director in 2020, when Esa-Pekka Salonen is scheduled to become the orchestra's next music director. Among the orchestra's awards and honors are an Emmy Award and 15 Grammy Awards in the past 26 years.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Wim Opbrouck

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Wim Opbrouck (born in Bavikhove, 5 February 1969) is a Flemish actor and singer. He is especially known for his work on stage. Opbrouck comes from Bavikhove, part of Harelbeke and studied at the Herman Teirlinck Studio. As an actor, he joined the Blue Monday Company. In 1997 he performed in a 12-hour theater marathon production of Ten oorlog by Tom Lanoye. Following the merger of this company with KNS (Antwerp), he became an actor at the Drama House. He took on large roles in Aars!, Leenane Trilogy, L. King of Pain, and Macbeth. In 2005 he transferred to the new NTGent. He gained fame through his appearance in the travel documentary De bende van Wim, a collaboration with composer and producer Jean Blaute and photographer Michiel Hendryckx, in which he travels through Europe on a motorcycle. He's also well known for appearing in the television shows Windkracht 10 and In De Gloria. He played in the films like Manneken Pis, Meisje and Everybody's Famous! In addition, he also plays the occasional group The Dolfijntjes. He sings and plays accordion. In 2008 it was reported that in 2010 he would succeed John Simons as artistic director of NTGent. Kelvin Yu

Biography

Kelvin Yu (born 1979) is an American actor and writer. Yu's first film was the 2003 comedy The Utopian Society. He later made an uncredited appearance in the 2005 film Elizabethtown. The following year, Yu had a supporting role in the comedy Grandma's Boy. Yu played a role in the Ghost Whisperer episode "Double Exposure" (3x6) as Joseph. Yu had a supporting role in the 2008 Academy Award-winning biographical political drama Milk. Yu has starred in several short films, including 2006's My Prince, My Angel. Yu later appeared with Linda Park on the ABC series Women's Murder Club, and a lead role in the 2007 short film Fortune Hunters. In 2020, he played a role in Wonder Woman 1984. Yu had a recurring role in the Netflix original series Master of None as the character of Brian Chang, the on-screen analogue of the show's creator Alan Yang, described as a "hottie" by Vulture magazine. He provides the voice of a minor character on The Great North. In 2022 Yu appeared in the Apple TV+ series The Afterparty.

William B. Davis

Biography

William Bruce Davis (born January 13, 1938) is a Canadian actor, known for his role as The Smoking Man on The X-Files. He has also appeared in Stargate SG-1 as Damaris, a Prior of the Ori and as Mayor Tate on Smallville. Most recently he has appeared in FOX's Human Target as an aging mobster. Davis was born in Toronto, Ontario, to an attorney father and psychologist mother. In 1959, he graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.A. in philosophy. Afterwards, he went on to become a drama professor at Bishop's University. He is also the founder of the William Davis Centre for Actors Study acting school in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is also a former national champion water skier. Despite being known for his smoking character, Davis actually quit smoking in the 1970s; when The X-Files started up, he was given a choice between herbal cigarettes and actual cigarettes. At first he chose the actual cigarettes, but switched to herbal shortly after for fear of becoming addicted again while playing the Cigarette Smoking Man. He voiced the antagonist Colonel Whitley of the game The Thing. Davis had a co-starring role in a 2001 episode of The Outer Limits revival series, playing the ruthless director of a secret scientific project, in an episode entitled "Worlds Within." Mohamed Faraag

Mohamed Farrag is an Egyptian actor. He was born in 1982. He joined the High Cinema Institute, but was forced to quit it and join the faculty of commerce in Cairo. He also joined Khaled Galal's acting workshop in Cairo's creativity center, and participated in the acting troupe's play “Ahwa Sada” (Black Coffee) in 2009, which premiered to widespread acclaim from audience and critics alike. He then went on to land supporting roles in television series and films, including “Elrahina” (The Hostage) and “Alf Mabrook” (Congratulations) alongside Ahmed Helmy. In 2013, Farrag made his debut leading role in the action film “El Qashah” (The Sweeper).

Doria Tillier (born 27 March 1986) is a French actress. She was born to a mathematician father and a mother who restores paintings, and she was a student in one of the oldest and most prestigious French high schools, Lycée Condorcet, in Paris. After she graduated, she worked as a waitress. From 2008 to 2010, Tillier studied acting at the Laboratoire de l'acteur-Hélène Zidi with Hélène Zidi. She later played in short films as well as in commercials, including Nina Ricci's perfume Mademoiselle Ricci. In 2008, she appeared as a coroner in the thriller Bloody Flowers directed by Richard J. Thomson and starring Amanda Lear. In 2009, she played in the series Action spéciale douanes aired on France 2. In September 2012, she became a witty weather girl on a famous access prime time TV show called Le Grand Journal on Canal+, succeeding Solweig Rediger-Lizlow. She left the program in June 2014. During the same period, Tillier also appeared in the second version of the sketch show Le Débarquement on Canal+ in December 2013. She was the mistress of ceremonies of the thirtieth anniversary of Canal+ in November 2014. Gigí Ruá (Gigí Vila Rúa) (Comodoro Rivadavia, March 10, 1955) is an Argentinean actress. He began his career as a model and mannequin due to his beautiful face, his huge green eyes and his slender figure. In the mid-seventies he began to work in television, standing out in cycles of Carlos Lozano Dana and Alma Bressán. In the Eighties its popularity continued in ascent, being the favorite of producers and directors of the time to interpret different roles of ingenuous women, evil or romantic heroines in the cinema, the television and the theater.
