Beware of the Car!

Peter Winter is a young schizophrenic who is desperately trying to get his daughter back from her adoptive family. He attempts to function in a world that, for him, is filled with strange voices, electrical noise, disconcerting images, and jarringly sudden emotional shifts. During his quest, he runs afoul of the law and an ongoing murder investigation.

Meanwhile the car salesman finds himself falling seriously in love with the wife. The baron really doesn't mind as he himself is involved with another.

A woman dies in the morning in a mysterious accident on an empty highway. Her son survives seriously injured. Since the mother had taken out a large life insurance policy shortly beforehand, suicide is suspected. Insurance employee Marlies Heidorn investigates the matter. She soon comes dangerously close to another vehicle owner...
