A documentary film about a Berlin police unit comprised of five former foreign nationals. Their primary areas of operation are neighborhoods with a high immigrant population. The camera follows them on their day and night shifts, documenting operations and arrests, and exploring the unit's self-image.

Long reserved for men, careers in the police force have gradually opened up to women. A look back at a century of change in France, Germany and Italy. Whilst the inclusion of women in police work now seems to be taken for granted in Europe, it is the result of a slow and uneven evolution. Admitted into the force at the start of the 20th century in France and Germany, and in the aftermath of the Second World War in Italy, women’s roles were for a long time confined to providing support to children, women and vulnerable people. From the 1960s onwards, women gradually began to appear in uniform, but remained excluded from patrol duties, criminal investigations, policing and specialised units until the 1990s. Although women are now not only present across all police services but are also promoted to positions of responsibility, the police force remains predominantly male.

Former London constable Nicholas Angel finds it difficult to adapt to his new assignment in the sleepy British village of Sandford. Not only does he miss the excitement of the big city, but he also has a well-meaning oaf for a partner. Police Station 5 in Lucerne celebrates the birthday of their superior Renggli and the return of investigator Lamberti from his three-month leave late into the night. When Lamberti discovers his car missing the next morning, he attempts to find out what happened to it using surveillance camera footage. Unfortunately, however, these images are only of limited use. What can just be seen in the images causes excitement among the team of investigators led by Lamberti and Haas, as they see their superior Renggli being kidnapped by an unknown person in Lamberti's car.

This study, is not only limited to the Spain, and especially to the Spanish province of Galicia, but it is presented as a comparative study with war and commemorative tourism site in Great Britain and Normandy as the European memory policy site of the WWII.

Plan Rosebud 2 focuses on the Spanish Transition, the period that took place after the end of Franco's rule, placing it in its cultural context, as well as on the final years of the Labour Party's rule in Great Britain during the seventies and the rise of the conservative leader Margaret Thatcher. Through analysis of social movements and popular culture, the film attempts to dismantle the idea that a pact among the Spanish ruling elite, led by Adolfo Suárez and King Juan Carlos, "saved" Spain from a new civil war and paved the way for a "peaceful" transition to a democratic regime.
