Sean Connery
Biography
Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award.
Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000).
Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama.
On 31 October 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Stanley Smith
Biography
Stanley Smith was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on January 6 1903. Smith had to overcome family objections before making his career on the stage -- his father's family were bankers and his mother's dealt in lumber. He attended Hollywood High School and in his teens appeared at the Hollywood Bowl as Robin Hood. He was discovered by Lenore Ulric and given his first chance in 'Kiki' then played in stock for six years. Smith returned to the West Coast to perform in "The Royal Family." The handsome actor -- 5 feet 11 inches, 160 pounds, blonde hair, blue eyes -- attracted the attention of Pathe studios which signed the local boy. He played leading man to Nancy Carroll, Clara Bow, and Ginger Rogers in the days of the early talkies.

Marian Dora is the pseudonym most commonly used by an anonymous German director, cinematographer, actor, screenwriter, editor, producer, composer, assistant director, makeup artist, special effects/sound/camera/electricity technician, and set decorator/designer, anagram of his actual name, occasionally also credited under several other pseudonyms. Dora’s main influence is the European cinema of the 70s: he is a great admirer of the work of Italian directors Gualtiero Jacopetti, Ruggero Deodato, and Sergio Martino, as well as of composers Riz Ortolani, Pippo Caruso, Ennio Morricone, and Guido & Maurizio De Angelis. Europe’s literary and poetical tradition is another major influence on Dora: many dialogues in his films contain references to the works of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Eduard Mörike, Georg Büchner, Marquis de Sade, Friedrich Nietzsche, and many others.

Tommy Dysart
Biography
Tommy Dysart is a Scottish-born actor, currently resident in Australia. Dysart has been a regular fixture on Australian television for several decades, frequently appearing in guest-starring roles in drama series and comedies, and in character roles in films and miniseries.
High-profile early roles included appearances in Skippy the Bush Kangaroo, Phoenix Five, and several roles in the Crawford Productions police drama series Homicide, Division 4 and Matlock Police.
In the early 1980s he played what is perhaps his best-known acting role, that of vicious and corrupt prison officer Jock Stewart in Prisoner. In the storyline, after being fired from the prison service Stewart admitted to prisoner Judy Bryant that he was the one responsible for murdering her lesbian lover, fellow prisoner Sharon Gilmour. This revelation brought to a close a murder-mystery storyline in the series but launched a long-running story-arc where Bryant repeatedly escaped from prison in a succession of attempts to exact her revenge on Stewart.
After this Dysart continued in guest-starring television roles in drama series and situation comedies, and appeared in many feature films. His films included The Man from Snowy River (1982), Bliss (1985), Garbo (1992), and Flynn (1996). Television roles of the 1990s included appearances in All Together Now, The Games, State Coroner, Blue Heelers, Something in the Air and Neighbours. He also provided the voice for Captain Griswald in Anthony Lucas' animated short film The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello (2005).
Starting in the 1990s he appeared in a series of well remembered advertisements for the Yellow Pages where he calls a series of mechanics about his problematic Goggomobil. He was also known for playing a recurring character of a Mafia-boss like butcher in advertisements for Don's Smallgoods.
In the early 2000s he continued his Goggomobil persona advertising Shannons Insurance. The concept played on the role of a person searching for the car parts as any car enthusiast would. Telstra challenged this in the Supreme Court and Shannons withdrew the advertisements, but continued with Dysart and the accent (which Dysart insisted was his own and could not change). The adverts continue and Shannons Insurance also owns several of the Goggomobil cars which feature regularly in their shows.
Tommy has enjoyed a long friendship and working relationship with director/writer Frank Howson in the movies Backstage, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, What The Moon Saw, Flynn, Crime Time, The Final Stage, The Lucky Country, and their most recent collaboration is the award winning film Remembering Nigel, which also stars Tommy's wife Joan and son Kole.
He is married to actress Joan Brockenshire.

Born on November 7, 1986, in Iasi, Romania, Olimpia Melinte has always wanted to be an actress. Supported by her parents, who understood and encouraged all her dreams, she studied acting in high school and college. She has a master degree in Dramatic Arts from the Arts University "George Enescu" (Iasi). Olimpia has appeared on the stage of the National Theatre in Iasi in many theatre productions and wishes to come back some day in a great Romanian production guided by a young Romanian director. Her first contact with the big screen was the main part she played in the feature film "Cele ce plutesc", directed by Mircea Danieliuc. Her debut film role landed her two nominations at The Gopo Awards 2010 (for the Best Actress category & Young Hope category). She attracted more attention with her next role in Massimiliano & Gianluca de Serio's movie "Sette opere di misericordia", proving she could hold her own across from screen experienced foreign actors. The film also earned high praise from critics, being awarded in film festivals like Locarno, Annecy, Vilerupt and Marrakech, and brought her an acting award at the Bobbio Film Festival in Italy. She worked with the young and talented Romanian director Luiza Parvu for her short movies Draft &, My Baby and, recently, A New World, with Florin Piersic Jr. for his feature "Killing Time" and also appeared in Dan Chisu's comedy "Bucuresti NonStop" Olimpia starred alongside Antonio de la Torre in the movie "Canibal", directed by Manuel Martín Cuenca, well received by audience and critics at the 2013 editions of the films festivals in Toronto, San Sebastian, Torino etc.

David Orth (born March 13, 1965) is a Canadian actor. Orth was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario. His most notable role was as Edward 'Ned' Malone in the TV series The Lost World, which was shot in Australia. He played this part from 1999 until 2002. During the shooting of The Lost World, he purchased a home in Australia and soon after met his wife there. Orth voiced Blizzard in Iron Man: Armored Adventures. He has also starred in Beyond Reality, The Ray Bradbury Theatre and in the episode "Scarecrow" on the CW's horror/drama series Supernatural. He has hinted that although he enjoys his acting career, he would like to become a director in the future, "I'd like to work toward both producing and directing. Directing really interests me as it does many actors".

Chen Kun (Chinese: 陳坤; pinyin: Chén Kūn) born February 4, 1976 in Chongqing, Sichuan), is a Chinese actor and singer. He also goes by another name, Aloys.
He showed early talent in singing and was strongly recommended by his vocal trainer and mentor to join the famous China Oriental Song and Dance Ensemble(now China National Song and Dance Ensemble) at Beijing in 1995. In 1996, he was admitted to Beijing Film Academy where he took off as a promising young actor.
As the leading man in "A West Lake Moment", Chen Kun won a nomination for the best actor at Taiwan's Golden Horse Awards in 2005. His performance in "The Knot" brought him a Huabiao Film Award (the main national film award in China) as best actor in 2007. His recent portrait of Chiang Ching-kuo in the 2009's mega blockbuster "The Founding of a Republic" received high remarks from critics and brought him sweeping popularity among audiences.

Jill Clayburgh (April 30, 1944 – November 5, 2010) was an American actress known for her work in theater, television, and cinema. She was a recipient of the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her breakthrough role in Paul Mazursky's comedy-drama An Unmarried Woman (1978). She also received a second consecutive Academy Award nomination for Starting Over (1979) as well as four Golden Globe nominations for her film performances.
