Jess Weixler
Biography
Jessica "Jess" Weixler (born June 8, 1981) is an American actress, best known to date as the lead in the comedy-horror film Teeth and the comedy The Big Bad Swim. She graduated in 1999 from Atherton High School in Louisville, Kentucky, where she also attended the Walden Theatre Conservatory Program and was in The River City Players acting group and in the Chamber Singers choral group and was voted "most talented", and then attended Juilliard.
She was nominated for a Breakthrough Award at the Gotham Awards in 2007 and won the Special Jury Prize in Dramatic category For a juicy and jaw-dropping performance at the Sundance Film Festival in 2007 both for her role in Teeth. She also appeared in the TV series Law & Order: Criminal Intent. In January 2009, she was named by New York Magazine as the "New Indie Queen" of the year and one of the fourteen "New Yorkers you need to know." She currently lives in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, New York.

Alfredo Salvador Sánchez Bolaños (born October 28th, 1943) is a Mexican actor and director.
He was one of the most relevant actors among those who renewed the list of interpreters of Mexican cinema at the beginning of the seventies. Since then, he has stood out in films such as The devil fell from glory (Cayó de la gloria el diablo, .1971), The bump (La choca, 1973), The heist (El apando, 1975), Canoa (1975), Las Poquianchis (1976), Los albañiles (1976), Under the shrapnel (Bajo la metralla, 1983), Motel (1983), Journey to Paradise (1985), Going for a nut (1986), Fire Angel (1991), Lady at night (1993), Leap into the void (1994), Natural death (1996) , Only once (2000) and Herod's law (2000).
He directed Pedro Páramo in 1981. Deserving of various distinctions for his acting work in film, including two Diosas de Plata, he has also developed an outstanding theatrical career and has participated repeatedly on television.

Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award.
Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000).
Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama.
On 31 October 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Howard Hickman

Howard Charles Hickman (February 9, 1880 – December 31, 1949) was an American actor, director and writer. He was an accomplished stage leading man, who entered films through the auspices of producer Thomas H. Ince. Hickman directed 19 films and co-starred with his wife, actress Bessie Barriscale, in several productions before returning to the theatre.
With the rise of the sound film, Hickman returned to the film business but received mostly small roles, often as an authoritarian figure. Hickman made a brief appearance as plantation owner John Wilkes, father of Ashley Wilkes, in Gone with the Wind (1939). He ended his film career in 1944, after more than 270 films.
Hickman died of myocardial infarction in San Anselmo, California, and is buried at the Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael, California.

Bruno Todeschini

Bruno Todeschini (born 19 September 1962) is a Franco-Swiss actor.
Todeschini studied at L'école supérieure d'art dramatique in Genève and after graduating in 1986, he joined the Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers, directed by Patrice Chéreau.
He has since then been appearing on television (Les Rois maudits, 2005) and in films, many directed by Chéreau.
Todeschini has a child from a previous relationship, a son named Romain, born in 1997. He is married to actress Sophie Broustal, with whom he has a daughter, Paloma, born on 6 June 2006.
He is fluent in French and Italian.

David Kossoff (24 November 1919 – 23 March 2005) was a British actor. Following the death of his son Paul, a rock musician, he became an anti-drug campaigner. In 1971 he was also actively involved in the Nationwide Festival of Light protesting against the commercial exploitation of sex and violence, and advocating the teaching of Christ as the key to re-establishing moral stability in Britain.

Paul Amiot

Paul Amiot (29 March 1886 – 26 January 1979) was a French film actor. His career spanned some 63 years and he appeared in nearly 100 films between 1910 and 1973.
In 1920 he appeared in Robert Péguy's Être aimé pour soi-même. He was noted for his consistent roles as a figures of authority. He regularly played police inspectors or detectives, lawyers and physicians. He starred in some 100 films between 1908 and 1930. On his death in 1979 he donated his body to scientific research.

Todd McCarthy

Todd McCarthy is an American film critic. He wrote for Variety for 31 years as its chief film critic until 2010. In October of that year, he joined The Hollywood Reporter where he subsequently became chief film critic.
Was born on February 16, 1950 in Evanston, Illinois, the son of Daniel and Barbara McCarthy. His mother was a cellist and served as the president of the Evanston Symphony Orchestra. His father was a rancher and real-estate developer. McCarthy graduated from Stanford University in 1972. McCarthy married at age 43 to Sasha Alpert on July 4, 1993 on his family's ranch in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Sasha is a documentary film maker.
From 1974 to 1975, McCarthy worked for Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles as an assistant to Elaine May. He helped her edit Mikey and Nicky. He edited Kings of Bs: Working Within the Hollywood System with Charles Flynn which was published in 1975. It is a book that discusses the great filmmakers of B movies. From 1975 to 1977, McCarthy worked for New World Pictures in Los Angeles as the director of advertising and publicity. McCarthy was later the manager English-language editions of Le Film français in 1977. The next year, he got a job as a Hollywood editor for Film Comment.
McCarthy became a film critic and wrote for Variety in 1979. In 1990, McCarthy wrote a documentary called Preston Sturges: The Rise and Fall of an American Dreamer which won an Emmy Award. He directed four documentaries about film: Visions of Light (1992), Claudia Jennings (1995), Forever Hollywood (1999), and Man of Cinema: Pierre Rissient (2007). Visions of Light was named the Best Documentary of the Year award by the National Society of Film Critics and the New York Film Critics Circle. Forever Hollywood has been played at Grauman's Egyptian Theatre for more than a decade. In 2007 he wrote Fast Women: The Legendary Ladies of Racing. He wrote about the famous producer/director Howard Hawks in his book, Howard Hawks: The Grey Fox of Hollywood which was published in 2000. McCarthy also wrote Des Ovnis, des Monstres et du Sexe: Le Cinéma Selon Roger Corman (2011).
McCarthy lost his job Variety in March 2010, having been the longest-serving member of their staff. McCarthy began working with an independent blog called Indiewire after leaving Variety. He was hired at The Hollywood Reporter in October 2010. He was hired as the chief film critic under Janice Min. He wrote the introduction to Painting with Light that was published in 2013.

He was born in Ermoupoli, Syros on October 1, 1957 and grew up in Athens. He studied Business Administration (hotel studies) and later graduated from the Veaki Drama School in 1984. In later years, he worked as an actor in many of the central and regional Theaters of Athens and the province. He became more widely known with his participation in the television series Oi men and the ones who don't" and the movie Balkanizer.
