Abbey Road, The Beatles' last album, was released on September 26, 1969. Abbey Road became a great final creative explosion - which, like predecessors Magical Mystery Tour, Sgt Pepper and The White Album, was never played live by The Beatles themselves.

Recorded at the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California for an MTV special, the live sessions produced eleven tracks for the album, including a new acoustic version of “Hotel California”.

Documentaries about punk rock always focus on what was happening in London, New York or L.A. But Brad Warner and his friends didn't live in "happening" places like that. The creators of the film - Esther Turan and Anna Koltay - wanted to explore what were the major youth music subcultures in the '90s and 2000s in Budapest. This film is a tribute to the underground subcultures of the city. In these series of films, these grass-roots groups deal with the social impact of their community building power and the role played by Budapest itself in the formation of these groups. The film explores the kind of atmosphere and unwritten rules, what were the dominant places, external signs, and symbols, or who were the central figures and what were the memorable stories. The film guides the viewer from the best bands to the message, from the typical attire to the cult bars. The new generation is a starting point, a complex retrospective of where it originated and why the colorful underground cultural life still characterizes Budapest today.

Written in 1967, Sgt. Pepper’s was the world’s first concept album. The Beatles went into the studio, enthusiastically embracing the possibilities for experimentation that were blossoming at the time, and with no intention of playing the album live. Firstly, because they just didn’t feel like it (due to the hordes of screeching fans), but also because it was music that supposedly couldn’t be performed on stage, as it was too complicated. But that music just had to be played live at some point! Now The Analogues’ perform this masterwork live in all its analogue glory—an honor for which no effort has been spared with regards to a truckload of wild and wonderful vintage instruments. There’s a sitar and tabla drums for ‘Within You, Without You’, a rare Lowrey keyboard for ‘Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds’; a harp for ‘She’s Leaving Home’, plus, of course, a huge array of strings and horns. This is The Analogue’s quest to faithfully perform Sgt. Pepper’s live!
