A murder investigation becomes complicated after the cops discover a pair of lookalike suspects.

Rakesh (Sanjeev Kumar) is a blind man with an attractive wife Rohini (Sarika). Unknown to him, his wife is having an affair with another man Ranjeet (Marc Zuber) behind his back. When Rakesh's wife is murdered in her paramour's home, he is the only suspect. Could a blind man have pulled off a perfect murder?

Raajkumar Kakkar, a poor young man who resembles Rana Shantidas, a wealthy man, impersonates him and enjoys his credit to have all facilities. He falls in love with Shanti, a rich girl and discloses his true identity. The rich father refuses to accept him, but Shanti marries him. Rana Shantidas, who is in fact being blackmailed by his minister, swaps places with Raajkumar. The latter finds himself the target of a bloody pot. He, however, boldly fights against all odds to help Rana Shantidas get rid of the blackmailing Diwan.

An ancient epic follows a young prince and princess whose marriage and subsequent exile mark the beginning of a legendary journey. Their story of love, duty and destiny sets the stage for greater challenges ahead.

Indian Air Force pilot Bhagat lives with his wife, Raksha and a young son. While going to the bank one day, the family find that the bank is being held up. The robbers were masked, but one of them had a tear in his shoe and another was wearing a locket, very similar to the one worn by his wife. Monica Kapoor lives a wealthy lifestyle in London, England. When she hears that her estranged brother, Kishan, has been killed while traveling in a train, she returns home to India and asks his much younger and drop dead gorgeous widow, Shobha, to move out so that she could sell the house, pick up the cash, return to London and get married to her boyfriend, Manoj. She does get to sell the house and compels Shobha to move in with Kishan's friend, Amar, but Manoj steals the cash and disappears. Humbled by this incident, Monica also moves in with Amar and Shobha, as well as Amar's younger brother, Chickoo, and ends up falling in love with Amar. She decides to marry him at the Registrar's Office. When he does not show, she returns home and finds him getting intimate with Shobha.

Widowed by the sudden passing of his wife, Superintendent of Police, Choudhry, brings up his son, Rajesh, on his own, teaches him all known good values, and when he grows up sends him to College in Bombay, and remits money to him regularly. Choudhry would like to transfer to Bombay Police, so that he can be close to his son, and then one day out of the blue, his transfer is approved, and a delighted Choudhry writes to his son to pick him from the railway station. Upon arrival in Bombay, he does not find his son at the Railway Station, but when browsing through a newspaper he sees his son's photograph - wanted for the murder of a card-sharp. Shocked and dismayed, Choudhry attempts to piece his life together and attempts to find Rajesh before the City Police do - for he may well face the death sentence. Choudhry does find him, but only after Rajesh is accused of killing a woman named Kishori, and this time Choudhry is quite sure that there is no hope for Rajesh.

Thakur Bhupendra Singh and his son Ajit are powerful landlords who oppress a helpless community of villagers. Ajit marries Laxmi, a city girl who has come to the village to be with her brother,Bheema. Bheema and a feisty village belle Gauri, are in love but before they can marry, tragedy strikes. Ajit, who had abandoned Laxmi soon after their wedding returns and murders her. The law is helpless and Bheema decides to take law into his own hands.

Raja Thakur is a bandit, but a bandit with a difference. He is principled, he has respect for women, and is a man of his word. Raja Thakur does find Sheetal, only now she is known as Janniya, a dancing courtesan. He also finds out the people responsible for her plight, and decides to teach them a lesson. Before he could do so, Sheetal is kidnapped by a city gangster and held for ransom. Now Raja Thakur will have to leave the rural area, where he rules, and go into an unknown territory, to deal with unknown gangsters, and he must do so in order to keep his word.
