At the surreal Vesta Awards, a ceremony dedicated to honoring the worst tragedies of romance, a sharp-tongued host guides the audience through four stories about the darker side of love: obsessions that spiral out of control, unrequited devotion, a strange emotional “infection,” and a costume party where death itself seems to be a guest.
