Le Havre, France. Pablo, a young drug dealer, has a close relationship with his sister Appoline, with whom he shares a passion for an online game called "Darknoon." When Pablo falls in love with a mysterious man named Nuit, he abandons his sister, who must finish the game alone. At the same time, Pablo and Nuit get into trouble and become the target of a rival gang.
2ⁿ is a story about the exponential growth of numbers raised to powers. Part of the Mathematica Peep Shows, one of five films made to accompany the Mathematica: A World of Numbers and Beyond exhibition at the California Museum of Science and Industry and the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.

Taking one of the world’s most popular children’s songs as a sample, this video slowly reveals the latent violence embedded in the culture addressed to kids. This is a single video take, similar to a photograph, in which a tiny instrument is left to self-unwind with so much tenderness while the song’s story of almost carnivorous nature is told.
Numbers was created during a trip to Manhattan, where I caught my self-reflection in a glass door that read ‘41’ after having photographed the number 42 earlier the same day, and subsequently continued hunting until I found everything else between 1 and 100. Dedicated to Hollis Frampton. – D.B.

In May 2019 brazillian pro-government protesters ripped the banner "In Defense of the Education" from Federal University of Paraná , placed by activists in favor of public education and against the curtailment of expenditures of the Ministry of Education, which blocked 30% of the discretionary funds of universities and federal institutes.
