The Cabaret Girl

Three college boys graduate. One is in love with a girl, whose mother and father have domestic difficulties. They go to court and are divorced. Father is refused the request for his daughter, and in turn kidnaps her and takes her to another state, where he becomes a great political factor. Bill, one of the graduated college boys who is in love with the girl, with his two companions, traces the girl and steal her away. In doing so his hand is burned with a poker and the father uses that as a means of identification in tracing him.

Alice, an old beachcomber's daughter, and Bob, a young fisherman living on an island remote from the mainland, discover a man tied to a rough raft floating in the wreckage of a yacht along the shore. The man thus cast up by the sea is taken to the cabin of the old beachcomber, where he recovers.

Using original footage and interviews, this documentary tells the nail-biting story of Apollo 13 and the struggle to bring its astronauts safely home.

Mary Bishop, a clerk in a jewelry store, finds out that her ex-boyfriend Fred Garrison, who left town to make his fortune, is coming back and wants to see her. Having heard that Fred has married a wealthy society girl and is quite rich, Mary borrows some jewelry from the store, dresses up in her finest and when she sees Fred, tells him that she has married the richest man in town and is now quite well-off. Complications ensue.

Sheriff Crane's wife and child are preparing for a little journey with their wagon and team. On arriving at the store, the wife, on attempting to get out, stumbles and startles the horses, which causes them to run away, the child hanging on to the wagon. This is seen by Harry, who gives chase, captures the runaway horses, and returns the child, unhurt, to the mother

Paris, 1950. Jürgen is sent to Paris as a reporter to cover the preliminary negotiations for the establishment of the European Coal and Steel Community, where he unexpectedly meets Marie again. During the war, Jürgen, a Wehrmacht officer, was stationed in Marie's village. At that time, the two were involved in a passionate love affair that they had to keep strictly secret. Now Marie wants nothing more to do with Jürgen. Because she is hiding a secret. Not even her best friends know that Pierre is Jürgen's son. Everyone believes that Marie was raped during the war. Only her parents and brother had noticed Marie's love for a German at the time, disowned her from the family, and chased her out of the village.
