At Como, Wyn meets and falls in love with Rayetta Muir, an unprincipled actress who trifles with him. In London, Rayetta avoids seeing Wyn, ready to forget him. Wyn is crazed when he learns that Rayetta is intimate with both Lord Durhugh, an old roué, and Le Grand, a French boxer; and in a rage he chokes Rayetta and leaves her for dead. He then confesses to his father that he has killed her. Preparing to take the blame, Sir John, accompanied by Wyn, goes to Rayetta's apartment to find that she did not die after all. A lost film.
Cecil George is a stenographer to the wealthy Mr. Jeffries but struggling to get by on her meager salary. Eventually Jeffries realizes how much he relies on Cecil and that he loves her. They marry and he entrusts the running of his business to his secretary while they honeymoon. Unfortunately, the secretary speculates for his own benefit and drives Jeffries’s company to ruin. When he suffers a nervous collapse Cecil must take drastic measures to save him.

Marcia and the queen meet one day and become very friendly, after a great deal of persuasion the queen finally induces Marcia to take her place for a week. Romantic complications and the near fall of the monarchy follow until all is resolved happily.
