René Mena was born in Sonsonate, El Salvador to parents Francisco & Rosa Mena. He is of Indigenous, Latinx and Middle Eastern descent. In 2011, René moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting and has since appeared in the TV Shows "Magnum P.I.", "The Mayans MC", "Hand of God", "Border Battles", "Kidding", "Tales of Titans", "The Story of God", "Soundtrack", "Crime Stoppers" and "Shameless." Kevin Tanski

Biography

Kevin Tanski was born in Buffalo, NY to George and Beverly Tanski. The middle child, set between his older brother Brian and younger sister Jessica, Kevin attended Lancaster High School located just outside of Buffalo, NY. After graduating, Kevin was recruited to the University At Buffalo to play football for the Buffalo Bulls. After playing for a short time, Kevin decided to focus on his studies graduating with a degree in Psychology. Kevin Tanski got his first taste of the entertainment industry in 2005 when he attended Buffalo Pro Wrestling Gym graduating from there as "Tank" Tanski. Tank Tanski was paired with his wrestling trainer Mark "Killer Kumpf" to form the "Buffalo Bad Boys," wrestling in independent promotions. Kevin left wrestling for other career pursuits. Kevin taking a shot once again in the entertainment industry, was fortunate enough to be cast, due to his martial arts training, and certification in Law Enforcement, as a background/stunt actor police officer for the movie "Dark Knight Rises." It was that experience that opened the door for Kevin in the film industry. Kevin auditioned and received his first lead role in the feature film titled "Beyond the Call of Duty" in spring of 2012 where he portrayed a Combat Specialist as part of an elite military strike team. This movie, although created on a micro budget, earned worldwide distribution and can be seen in over 30 countries. Shortly after that, Kevin was cast in a supporting role as a mean Bounty Hunter in a Western feature film titled "Ride the wanted trail." Kevin began studying advanced acting techniques under Frank Rossi of Frank Rossi Studios in Buffalo, NY in 2012. Kevin has always expressed his love for being on set stating there is no other place he would rather be and enjoys traveling around the country to film. Kevin earned eligibility for the Screen Actor's Guild by booking a principal role as a Police Officer for the award winning feature film Topside shot in 2019 and released in 2021. Kevin Joined SAG in the summer of 2021 and booked a principal role in a television pilot in 2022, of which details can not yet be disclosed at time of this update.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. David Haye

Biography

David Deron Haye (born 13 October 1980) is a British professional boxer who has held world titles in two weight classes. He is the first British boxer to reach the final of the World Amateur Boxing Championships, where he won a silver medal in 2001. As a professional he became the first British boxer to become a unified cruiserweight world champion in 2008, winning three out of the four major world titles, as well as The Ring magazine and lineal titles. He then moved up to heavyweight and became the WBA champion in 2009 after defeating Nikolai Valuev, who had a world record 11 inches and 7 stone advantage on Haye. Along with Evander Holyfield, Haye is one of only two boxers to have unified the cruiserweight world titles and become a world heavyweight champion.

Mario Feliciani

Biography

Mario Feliciani (12 March 1918 – 11 August 2008) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Born in Milan, after completing his classical education Feliciani attended the Accademia dei filodrammatici obtaining the diploma. He made his stage debut in 1941, with the theatrical company "Palcoscenico". Later he was part of various companies, obtaining his first personal successes in 1946, with the drama La luna è tramontata. From 1947 to 1952 he was a member of the Piccolo Teatro's stage company directed by Giorgio Strehler. He had also a very long and important collaboration on stage with Vittorio Gassman, also performing tours abroad with him. In the 1970s he came back to Piccolo Teatro for two important works, Santa Giovanna dei macelli (1970–71) and Le case del vedovo (1975-76). Feliciani was also very active in films, on television and as a voice actor, on the radio and in the dubbing. Miroslav Horníček

Biography

K divadlu se dostal na plzeňské reálce, kde chodil do ochotnického spolku a se spolužáky založil Studentský avantgardní kolektiv. Po vystudování byl krátce zaměstnán jako úředník v plzeňské nemocnici. V roce 1941 přijal angažmá v Městském divadle v Plzni, brzy po válce odešel do Prahy. Nejprve hrál v Divadle Větrník, o rok později nastoupil k bratrům Oldřichu a Lubomíru Lipským do Divadla satiry. Poté hrál šest let na scéně Národního divadla. V roce 1955 se stal partnerem Jana Wericha v Divadle ABC (Jiří Voskovec po 2. světové válce emigroval do Spojených států amerických). S Werichem hrál šest let, například ve hrách Těžká Barbora nebo Husaři. Po Werichově odchodu roku 1961 vytvořil podobnou dvojici s Milošem Kopeckým. Nehráli však spolu dlouho. Už v roce 1962 se stal na dva roky členem Hudebního divadla v Karlíně a záhy i Divadla Semafor, kde účinkoval například ve hře Člověk z půdy. Působil i vMěstských divadlech pražských, velmi známé a značně populární byly jeho Hovory přes rampu kde přímo z divadelní rampy odpovídal na živé dotazy diváků kladené z hlediště a tak neformálně besedoval s publikem. Hrál také ve filmech. Ztvárnil hlavní role ve filmech Táto, sežeň štěně a Kam čert nemůže a v televizním seriálu Byli jednou dva písaři, dále několik vedlejších rolí v mnoha dalších filmech, z nichž nejznámější je role Krásného prince ve filmové pohádce Byl jednou jeden král. V roce 1965 si zahrál v komediálním snímku z produkce východoněmecké Defy Bez pasu v cizích postelích. Známé je také jeho působení v roli moderátora filmového zpravodajství z Mezinárodního filmového festivalu v Karlových Varech. V roce 1967 se účastnil avantgardního projektu Kinoautomat autorů Radúze Činčery, scenáristy Pavla Juráčka a režisérů Jána Roháče a Vladimíra Svitáčka na světové výstavě v Montrealu. Horníček působil v roli průvodce filmovým představením, které se v určitých dramatických momentech větvilo. Samo publikum rozhodovalo, jak bude děj pokračovat. Zajímavostí je, že on sám neuměl vůbec anglicky. Text měl foneticky odposlouchaný a naučený. Tehdejší novinka vzbudila značný ohlas a po celou dobu výstavy byla představení beznadějně vyprodaná, jednalo se o první případ tzv. interaktivního filmu na světě.   Z tohoto pobytu vytěžil knihu fejetonůJavorové listy, uveřejňovaných původně v Literárních novinách. Po návratu z Montrealu se společně s režisérem Vladimírem Svitáčkem pustili do televizního projektu, který mu přinesl obrovskou popularitu. Scéna byla jednoduchá. Uprostřed publika byl stolek, u kterého seděl nad lahví červeného vína Horníček se svým hostem. Promlouval s takovými osobnostmi, jako byli mj. Jan Werich, Jan Pivec, Jiří Sovák, Július Satinský a Milan Lasica. Do svých rozhovorů vkládal inteligentní humor, který oslovuje mnohé diváky i dnes. V roce 2004 vyšla v reedici kniha Hovory H.. Pořad se vysílal v letech 1968–1971, s nástupem normalizace byl však zrušen. Dochovaly se z něj vzácné televizní záznamy, pořad vyšel i na gramofonových deskách firmy Supraphon, později i na CD.  V Plzni je na jeho počest od roku 2000 pojmenováno Horníčkovo divadlo. Byla zde 10. listopadu 2003 odhalena pamětní deska.

Freddie Gruber

Biography

Freddie Gruber was a jazz drummer and later a drum teacher. Like his friend and early roommate Buddy Rich, Gruber was a jazz drummer in the New York Bebop scene in the mid-1940s. Transitioning to instructor, Gruber mentored some of the leading rock and session drummers from the 1970s through the 2000s, among them Frank Zappa's Vinnie Colaiuta, Journey's Steve Smith, Rush's Neil Peart, Chick Corea's Dave Weckl, and many others, becoming the pro drummer's top industry guru. Freddie Gruber died in Los Angeles after a long illness in 2011.

From Wikipedia Hubert Edward Hassard Short (1877–1956), usually known as Hassard Short, was an actor, stage director, set designer and lighting designer in musical theatre who directed over 50 Broadway and West End shows between 1920 and 1953. He has been described as "one of Broadway's greatest directors and lighting designers" by theatre historian Ken Bloom, and as a "groundbreaking director and choreographer" by John Kenrick. After 25 years acting on stage and in films, Short turned to directing and designing in 1920. He made many innovations in stage lighting and design, including the first permanent lighting bridge (Music Box Revue, 1921) and first the use of a revolving stage in a Broadway musical (The Band Wagon, 1931). He continued to direct until 1952.
