On 12 May 1978, Kate made her debut on Dutch television in a program that has gotten to be known as “De Efteling Special”. The amusement park De Efteling served as a backdrop for six songs of The Kick Inside: Moving, Wuthering Heights, Them Heavy People, Strange Phenomena, The Man With The Child In His Eyes, and The Kick Inside. On 10 May 1978, the Efteling was ready to open the Haunted Castle, the most expensive attraction it had ever constructed (designed by Ton van der Ven), and they wanted to promote it. In April a documentary featuring the Haunted Castle was made by filmmaker Rien van Wijk, who was eager to shoot in the latest attraction before it officially opened. Kate, who just had a big hit with Wuthering Heights, was approached for a television special that would promote both Efteling and her songs. This is the original broadcast of May 12, 1978. The original 16m film is lost; this is a copy of the uMatic version that is the only version left.

Young Peter has a difficult time adjusting at school having been confined to a wheelchair after an accident. He still wants to participate in the school outing and play and wants to come up with a way to make the play actors 'fly' like fairies. By chance the local inventor Quirinus Drijfhout and his son Felix have just perfected their 'Zerostraler', a machine that can make any object float in mid air.

The Fairy Tale Forest residents discover a 'real human' in the fairy tale forest... a lumberjack. Everyone is in a flurry. When the lumberjack - after a wicked plan by Wolf and Witch - wants to chop down the Sprookjesboom chaos ensues. Who will help save the Sprookjesboom? A story featuring all the familiar Fairy Tale Forest inhabitants from the popular television series Sprookjesboom

During the annual family weekend in theme park "De Efteling", eleven-year-old Teun discovers that his recently deceased grandfather left him one last scavenger hunt inside the park.

Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, and even Dragon are busy practicing for the big competition at the wondrous music festival. Witch is pulling out all the stops to win, and little Benjamin desperately wants to join, but he can't find an instrument that suits him. And then, a music teacher and some of her students get lost in the Fairy Tale Forest and end up at the music festival! Will little Benjamin eventually find his instrument? What is Witch planning? And what about the lost teacher and her students at the music festival? Will they ever find their way back home?

"Klein Duimpje" has had enough. He doesn't want to be small anymore, he wants to be big! "But how does someone become big?" Klein Duimpje wonders. Witch has a cunning plan for that... "Strength of big, strength of small, let one become the other!" Poof! She casts a spell, making Klein Duimpje ten times bigger! But is being bigger actually more enjoyable?

Efteling Sprookjes Deel 5

50 Years Fairytales in the Efteling is a documentary from 2002 about the history of the Efteling, in honor of the golden jubilee. Like Dreaming with Open Eyes, this documentary was also composed and directed by Nathalie Toisuta. It mainly consists of interviews with (relatives of) Efteling stars, supported by many archive images. The forty-minute program was broadcast on Nederland 2 in 2002 by TROS. The commentary is by Thom Hoffman.
