D'Arnot and the idol are rescued, but the idol falls into the clutches of the explorer Raglan.

Highlights include Dorothy being swept to Oz in various ways, such as with back-projection tornadoes and storms in a chicken coop. He puts together a cattle drive in order to sell the herd to raise the money to pay off the note, but when the crooks hear about this, they make plans to stampede the herd along the way.

The story of two half-brothers, Jason and Michael, who travel between Iceland and the Isle of Man experiencing political revolutions, natural disasters, and personal upheavals. The plot is loosely based on the Biblical story of Jacob and Esau.

The Perils of Pauline is a motion picture serial shown in weekly installments featuring the actress Pearl White playing the title character. Pauline has often been cited as a famous example of a damsel-in-distress, although viewers will find her character more resourceful and less helpless than the classic 'damsel' stereotype. Nine episodes (from a condensed 1916 re-release) survive to this day.
