Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Indian-American Neel Sethi was born on December 22, 2003, in New York City. He is a child actor who landed a break-out role as Mowgli in John Favreau's 2016 live-action version of the classic tale 'The Jungle Book'. He also starred in the short film 'Diwali' (2013). He was selected for the role of Mowgli among thousands who auditioned across the globe. Also, he is the only real human character in 'The Jungle Book', with everyone else providing voices for the beast characters.

Christian Borromeo is a retired Italian actor. He made several feature films, perhaps best known for Ruggero Deodato's The House on the Edge of the Park, and Dario Argento's Tenebrae. Career Borromeo began his career with a part in the Italian film Lezioni di violoncello con toccata e fuga in 1976. Then he went on to star as 'Germano' in the 1979 erotic comedy Ups and Downs of a Super Stud (Pensione Amore Servizio Completo) directed by Luigi Russo. In 1980, he starred in Ruggero Deodato's ensemble-thriller The House on the Edge of the Park, and in 1982 he also played a brief, but major supporting part in Dario Argento's giallo-slasher Tenebrae,[3][4] and the same year also managed to play the part of 'Lotario' in Ehrengard by director Emidio Greco. He effectively ended his acting career in 1997, with his last movie-appearance in the TV-movie Inquietudine.

Jason R. Gray is a filmmaker from London, Ontario, Canada. He graduated from Western University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and English in 2002. He writes, directs, photographs, edits and has also begun to score his own films. He is known for She Has Divided Me (2011) and The Golden Hour (2014). The Golden Hour was recently awarded the Jury Prize for Best Short Film at The Toronto Independent Film Festival (2014). These two films are the first two thirds of a trilogy exploring the themes of time and memory. Gray is working on the final piece of the trilogy, his first feature, Glass, three additional narrative features and a documentary.

With a career stretching through three decades, he usually portrays senior law enforcement or military officers. He is perhaps best known for his role as Special agent Ron Butterfield, the head of President Josiah Bartlet's Secret Service detail, on The West Wing. He played CTU Administrative Director Richard Walsh in the first two episodes of 24. He played Sgt. Maj. Ron Cheals in the CBS action-drama series The Unit. He starred in the Season Six 2 part Finale of Grey's Anatomy as the broken widower who holds the hospital hostage with a 9mm while pursuing the doctors responsible for unplugging his wife. His most notable film performances occur in Seabiscuit, Secondhand Lions, Transformers, Dancer, Texas Pop 81, Traffic, Sea of Love, A Quiet Little Marriage, Nothing But the Truth, and Green Zone. O'Neill graduated from Auburn University in 1974. After attending Auburn he spent time under the tutelage of actor Will Geer and his daughter, Ellen, at Theatricum Botanicum in Los Angeles before moving to New York to pursue his career there.
