Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Robin Hugh Gibb, CBE (born 22 December 1949) was an English singer and songwriter. He gained worldwide fame as a member of the Bee Gees pop group with elder brother Barry and fraternal twin brother Maurice. Robin Gibb also had his own successful solo career. Born to English parents, the trio started their musical career in Australia, and found major success when they returned to England. With record sales estimated in excess of 100 million, the Bee Gees became one of the most successful pop groups of all time. Biography

Ferdinand Emmanuel Edralin Marcos Sr. was a Filipino politician, lawyer, dictator, and who was the 10th president of the Philippines from 1965 to 1986. He ruled under martial law from 1972 until 1981 and kept most of his martial law powers until he was deposed in 1986, branding his rule as "constitutional authoritarianism" under his Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (New Society Movement). One of the most controversial leaders of the 20th century, Marcos's rule was infamous for its corruption, extravagance, and brutality. Misa Aika (born November 2, 1976) is a Japanese talent hailing from Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. In January 1993, she made her CD debut under the name Kumiko Fujiwara from Maikaru Hummingbird. Her debut song "Junai" was used in a commercial for Johnson & Johnson Baby Lotion, although she did not appear in the actual commercial. While the song garnered attention, her debut single did not sell well and her planned second single for June was shelved. She wrote the lyrics for the song herself. Following this, she joined the Sakura Club Sakura Group and changed her name to Makoto Kurosawa. After the end of Sakura Club, she changed her name once again to Aika Misa and pursued a career as a sexy genre actress. During the same period, she crossed paths with idol Asami Inoue, who was a senior in the junior high school's art club. Marie Dubois (born January 12, 1937 – 15 October 2014) was a French actress. She made her film debut in 1959, and first gained notice in Shoot the Piano Player. She has since played mainly supporting roles, and in the 1960s she appeared in New Wave films such as Jules and Jim and The Thief of Paris, thrillers like Hot Line, and comedies like La Ronde, La Grande Vadrouille, and Monte Carlo or Bust. Her film appearances in the 1970s include L'Innocente, The Surveyors, Vincent, François, Paul et les autres, Night Flight from Moscow and La Menace (for which she won the César Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role). Sandra Hüller (born 30 April 1978) is a German actress. She gained critical praise for her portrayal of Anneliese Michel in Hans-Christian Schmid's 2006 drama Requiem, for which she won the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the 2006 Berlin Film Festival, and is best known internationally for her starring role in Maren Ade's 2016 comedy Toni Erdmann, for which she won the European Film Award for Best Actress. She has received six nominations for the German Film Award and won three times. Hüller has starred in German, Austrian, American, British and French films. In 2023, Hüller starred in two award-winning films that premiered in the main competition of the Cannes Film Festival: the French courtroom drama Anatomy of a Fall by Justine Triet, which won the Palme d’Or, and Jonathan Glazer’s Holocaust drama The Zone of Interest, which won the Grand Prix. Both films were nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards and Hüller earned a Best Actress nomination for her role in Anatomy of a Fall.

Adrienne Pauly (born 30 May 1977) is a French actress and pop-rock singer. She joined the Conservatoire National Superieur d'Art Dramatique in 1996, where she studied drama, and acted in films until 2002, when she discovered the piano through Camille Bazbaz. Later, she recorded a demo and, in 2004, made her first concert at the House of Live in Paris, and then to Dejazey in Rennes and thereafter at the Lavoir Moderne and at the Olympic Café. Vincent Ségal (born 1967 in Reims, France) is a French cellist and bassist. He studied at the National Music Academy of Lyon and the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada. He is mainly known for the variety of his collaborations and unusual projects. He has worked with Steve Nieve, Elvis Costello, Cesaria Evora, Blackalicious, Carlinhos Brown, the French reggae band Tryo, Franck Monnet, the experimental project Mujeres Encinta, Georges Moustaki or with Alexandre Desplat in the O.S.T. of Lust, Caution and other of his films. In 1986 he and Cyril Atef and formed the band Bumcello, a downtempo electronica duo that won the Victoires de la Musique award and was named Electronic artist of the year 2006. He played on every Matthieu Chedid (-M-) album. In 2009 he worked with Sting on his album If on a Winter's Night.... In October of the same year he recorded, in the studio of Salif Keïta in Mali, the album Chamber Music with Ballaké Sissoko. As a native to California's Central Coast, Talia was raised in a beautiful environment, loaded with outdoor and indoor physical activities.
