Leading behaviour expert Marie Gentles is heading to Beacon Hill Academy in the West Midlands, where in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, some of the pupils are struggling.

In a unique experiment, five teachers from China take over the education of fifty teenagers in a Hampshire school to see whether the high-ranking Chinese education system can teach us a lesson.

Their path takes them through amazing natural landscapes, producing spectacular scenery for a very ordinary task. This documentary follows the second-year students of Set 36 at Norland College, a quintessentially British 120-year-old childcare training college in Bath which turns its students into elite 21st century Mary Poppins-style nannies. The programme gives an insight into how contemporary Norland students follow the college's traditions, though the students are also taught more modern disciplines, such as advanced driving skills, how to escape the paparazzi, taking corners at speed in the rain, lifesaving and self-defence. If they successfully finish the 14,000 pounds per year course, a lifetime of employment and travel prospects could be theirs for the taking. Norland Nannies have been sought after by the rich and famous for over a century. Most recently the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hired a Norlander as nanny to Prince George. Founded in 1892 by Emily Ward, the college is renowned for its rigorous rules, traditional uniform, perfect hair and clean white gloves.

Filmed on location at schools in Harlow, Dewsbury, Walthamstow, Cardiff and Salford respectively, there have been six series to date: Educating Essex (2011), Educating Yorkshire (2013), Educating the East End (2014), Educating Cardiff (2015) and Educating Greater Manchester 1 & 2 (2017 and 2020).

Miki Ichinose is a 14-year-old schoolgirl who is very outgoing and cheerful. She lives with her parents and younger brother. She is in a romantic relationship with Satoshi Kirino who is 15 years old. They keep their relationship a secret from their parents because Miki is young and Satoshi is expected to excel in school and get into a university so he can take over the family business by his overbearing mother. One night, after a date, they sneak into a treehouse and consummate their relationship. Soon after, Miki suspects that she is pregnant and steals a pregnancy test, which her mother later finds. She is taken to a doctor who confirms her pregnancy. Initially upset, Miki's parents promise they will support her. Miki tells Satoshi of the pregnancy and he takes the news well. However, his mother is furious when she learns of it and forbids the two from seeing each other.

The students of Class 3-E have a mission: kill their teacher before graduation. He has already destroyed the moon, and has promised to destroy the Earth if he can not be killed within a year. But how can this class of misfits kill a tentacled monster, capable of reaching Mach 20 speed, who may be the best teacher any of them have ever had?
