The series frequently depicted members of the major historically black fraternities and sororities.

Moesha was an American sitcom series that aired on the UPN network from January 23, 1996 to May 14, 2001. The Rippling Blossom is a 2011 TVB modern romance drama series. The premiere episode aired on 7 February 2011. It was filmed from 25 October 2009 to 20 January 2010. Filming locations included Hokkaido, as well as Tokyo and Hong Kong.
