Summary: This original series follows the surviving teens through an adult zombie Apocalypse. It has love, betrayal, hookups, fights, gangs and of course zombies! There is a range of both flashbacks and present drama and even a few switches of narrators. Ever survivor has their own tragic pasts that guide not only their decisions, but also what gang they belong with in the present. They all come a long way through the first season leading to a very surprising ending. Personal opinion: LOVED this show! The zombies weren't the generic, moaning straight to attacking type (nice twist by the way). They were unique and new like most of the show is. Plus I think it is awesome that they have a red headed boy in the leading role! Am I the only one who thinks red headed characters have been overlooked or ignored for too long? This show is a refreshing twist on the typical, played out zombie genre. Even the cliched group pairings have their own new spins. The cheerleaders are man hating badasses, the jocks are under the control of a very angry maniac and the foreign exchange students aren't as misunderstanding as they seem. Another cool twist is that the narrating role switches between multiple main characters to offer insight and flashbacks to their pasts. They do it in a unique way by having the narrator actually high jack the position. Angelica is by far my favorite. She makes up for her younger age with her brains and kick-ass attitude that she uses as a shield. I felt like Sam, however, was a bit overdone. She seems so concerned about not being labeled in a certain way and goes on long rants about being different than everyone thinks. It makes her seem like the caring, helpful side she shows to people is all just an act. Overall, you have to check out this show if you liked Zombieland. It has the same humor entwined feel and is definitely binge worthy.

Well, that was really pointless - no wonder this cancelled after one season! I mean, it got good in the first 3 episodes but right to the end, the ending was a bit shit. Well, apart from that epic fight scene in it though! The show's protagonist (if that's how he likes to see himself as) was a dick; both in a stupid way AND in a bad way. Plus, right at the end, Josh didn't even apologized to Sam for how things were left before the apocalypse. He's just so self centered; thinking himself as the so called hero, and at the start of the show I felt sorry for him, but halfway through the other half of the show he definitely deserved to get his ass kicked! The only good thing I liked about it though was Matthew Broderick was in it!
