Five Fables

Foxy Fables is an animated television series produced by the leading Israeli animator Rony Oren. All the characters were made from moulded plasticine modelling clay on metal armatures, and filmed with stop motion clay animation. The plot of the series was based on fables by Aesop, La Fontaine, and others that features forest animals acting out the famous stories. The situations always based on the less stronger animal succeed in outsmarting the stronger one who tries to let him down. Every episode would end with a valuable moral. The program was originally created in Israel. 13 episodes were produced.

The somewhat peculiar Hotta family runs Tokyo Bandwagon, a secondhand bookstore and cafe in the old part of Tokyo. They are a big four-generation family that is rare these days. The Hottas live by rather unusual family rules, and solve strange incidents that arise in the old town. 26-year-old Ao is the family’s second son, and a freelance tour guide. Although he is the child of his father’s mistress, he has been raised as the second son without prejudice. Ao is an irresistible playboy to females due to the gap between his frivolous behaviour and occasional melancholic expressions, but then he encounters university student Makino Suzumi and falls deeply in love with her.

During the 1976 Tangshan earthquake, Li Yuanni is forced to separate her twin children. As they grow up, the siblings face life's challenges while dealing with the lasting trauma and family bonds from the disaster.

Gifted with their ancestors' virtues, the heroes featured in these adventures are these characters: Hercules and his friendly dog Cerberus, Hua Mulan and the friendly eagle Tylli, the Ninja Turtle Dragon, Ulysses--assisted by a Ram and Bear, King David and the cheetah Betsy, the Thief of Baghdad--aided and abetted by his cave lion Yubba, Jerome and the friendly cave cougar Bloody Knife with the buffalo Wapi, the protective Blue Yeti, and two little dinosaurs named Knock and Hit.

Zuzubaland is a kingdom of goodies. The mountains are of ice cream, the rivers of chocolate, the sun is of candy and the moon is of honey. In this world of hotness, the bee Zuzu and his friends have fun adventures.

Kyle becomes consumed by darkness there, and the party resolves to travel to the ends of the world on the flying island in order to find the seven "Great Runes", following Kyle's words before he disappeared.

Nicholas Miklouho-Maclay was the first to land in New Guinea, getting acquainted with the aborigines, their customs. Among the natives of New Guinea, Nicholas Miklouho-Maclay lives for several years. The scientist also falls in love with the daughter of the Vice President of Australia, the film shows the relationship between Nicholas Miklouho-Maclay and his lover.
