A farewell to the amalgamation of memories that a family crossed by the passage of time leaves in Denia.

Spoiled seven-year-old Vanka lives a carefree childhood. Going with his father to the Maslenitsa holiday, Vanka meets a runaway deserter in the forest, about whom he tells the adults. This act instantly deprives Vanka of his childhood, and the father of his child. The event opens his eyes to the adult world in which the child will have to live on.

What if you rediscovered the script you wrote when you were 12? And what if you performed it with real actors, without changing a word? In this unique comedy, actors faithfully bring their director's hilariously bad childhood script to life, while their "Teacher" Michael Smallwood uproariously reacts to the chaos.

Welcome to the 1980s TV horrorshow that never was. PHANTASMATAPES is a psychotronic VHS mixtape that reimagines THE REVENGE OF DR. X (a Japan-set creature feature that was written by Ed Wood) and THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE (the savage body horror film that inspired FRANKENHOOKER) as a late-nite, home-taped double feature—complete with local TV commercials and a new synthesizer score from Taken by Savages (JUNGLE TRAP). Inspired by hazy memories of channel-surfing at the witching hour, this is a nostalgic and experimental art project from the minds behind Bleeding Skull.

The film presents a field of sunflowers. The focus is adjusted frame by frame in succession according to a series of patterns on particular plants situated in different parts of the field. The diverse configurations placed on separate frames of the film strip appear, when projected successively, simultaneously on the screen. Thus, filmed one after another at different focal lengths, the sunflowers combine during projection to form one spatiotemporal image. Juan Méndez Bernal leaves his house on the 9th of april of 1936 to fight in the imminent Spanish Civil War. 83 years later, his body is still one of the Grass Dwellers. The only thing that he leaves from those years on the front is a collection of 28 letters in his own writing.

In the Moroccan desert night dilutes forms and silence slides through sand. Dawn starts then to draw silhouettes of dunes while motionless figures punctuate landscape. From night´s abstraction, light returns its dimension to space and their volume to bodies. Stillness concentrates gaze and duration densify it. The adhan -muslim call to pray- sounds and immobility, that was condensing, begins to irradiate. And now the bodies are those which dissolves into the desert.

Dead Parents Club is a hybrid documentary blending observational footage, experimental performance, and cultural analysis to challenge the pervasive "orphan trope" in popular culture. While children's media like The Lion King, Frozen, and Finding Nemo frequently use parental loss as a narrative tool to spark a character's independence, the lived reality of grief is vastly more complex. The film follows real individuals who have lost parents as they collaborate on a unique theatre production. By stepping into the roles of iconic fictional orphans like Simba and Frodo, the cast members weave their personal stories of trauma into the scripted scenes. The resulting performance offers a poignant, absurd, and unexpectedly funny exploration of identity and healing. Moving between fantasy and lived experience, this documentary examines how we navigate profound loss, build deep connections, and ultimately learn to parent ourselves.

An inspiring 75min DIY documentary film on new art and the young artists behind it. It was all filmed on the heat of live action of the first NOVA Contemporary Culture Festival, July and August 2010 in São Paulo, Brazil.

A collective portrait in which friends and acquaintances explore the complexities of Rodrigo Lira, a pivotal poet on the national scene of the 1980s. The short film exposes diverse literary and personal facets of Lira, while simultaneously fragmenting, reiterating, and juxtaposing the speeches of the group of interviewees, making it in itself a work of audiovisual experimentation. Originally filmed months after Lira's suicide, this film was recuperated and preserved by Universidad de Chile's Film Archive, who were able to release it in 2026.
