Cursive: Live at The Cat

After fifteen years of unconventionally kinetic stage antics (sometimes involving fire breathing, on-stage raffles, and a guy named "Dirty" who was essentially the band's resident cheerleader), the band gave their bittersweet farewell performance for an army of costume-clad fans - some of which even flew in from other countries - on their favorite day of the year to perform, Halloween. And here you have it, the band's final live performance from San Diego's Westin Hotel Ballroom, marking the end of an era and the affirmation of their cemented presence in the slightly emptier world of rock n' roll. Dither: The D.I.Y. Sound is not your conventional punk rock documentary. In this documentary we explore the ideologies created by cornerstones of the early punk community such as Ian Mackaye of Minor Threat, Fugazi and Dischord Records. But beyond that, we explore the communities and people that have adopted these ideologies and created their own version of what it means to be D.I.Y. This is not a documentary about just music, it's a documentary about the communities that surround the music and embrace it as a way of identification and brotherhood. But this documentary doesn't just ask questions about the culture, it asks questions about how it's possible to maintain a culture that is, at it's core, so opposite of the modern economic and social system.

Cleveland's Screaming is a documentary movie about the Akron and Cleveland, Ohio hardcore punk scene of the early 1980s. Documentaries about punk rock always focus on what was happening in London, New York or L.A. But Brad Warner and his friends didn't live in "happening" places like that. Like thousands of other kids all over the country in those days, they made their own scene in their own town out of nothing.

Filmed in High Definition in Amsterdam on Toto's 25th Anniversary Tour in 2003, this stunning concert captures the band at their very best, reunited with original vocalist Bobby Kimball.
