The Happy Circus

A poetic tale directed by Elena Petkevich for children on a small grasshopper, which is trying to learn the secret of life.

Set in a city both past and present, on a deserted street where only the distant sounds of life blow by. The Hunger Artist stands alone, locked in his cage. Once famous and adored by the crowds, he now performs alone.

An elderly man tells his granddaughter his personal story of the Second World War. His life as a child and all the strange characters he populates it with takes the little girl to a bizarre world she doesn't understand.

Narrated in first person, this film explores the impact of anxiety and how it can affect your life. Aneeka and Sam’s testimony is open and honest, and creates an intimate portrait into what it is like to live with severe anxiety, and what might cause it.

An outcast duckling's search for a family to accept him leads to constant rejection before learning his true identity as a swan.

Sylvester Cat pays a visit to a closed-to-business circus and finds Tweety Bird in one of the cages. Tweety escapes and a mad chase ensues. Meanwhile, Sylvester must flee from an uncaged lion he angered earlier.

Sylvester Cat accepts a position as mouse-catcher on a ship, and his son, Junior, accompanies him. They encounter baby kangaroo Hippety Hopper being shipped from Australia and, as usual, mistake Hippety for a giant mouse.

It's the middle ages (sort of); Popeye is working in Bluto's Beanery. Bluto is going to the ball where Princess Olive will choose her mate. Popeye's fairy godpappy appears and it's a reverse Cinderella story, with a car created from a can of spinach.

Private Gandy Goose and Sergeant Sourpuss go in hot pursuit of Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, depicted respectively as a hog and an oversized monkey.

Once again, the mysterious minah bird hops his syncopated way into Inki's lion-hunting expedition. This time the little black bird has a new reality- defying way to disappear: he hops into a haystack which gradually (and with the same catchy hip-hop) shrinks down to a single straw, which vanishes.

Out west, tenderfoot Woody uses his slingshot against Indian Buzz Buzzard in a shooting contest.

A young horse says hi to little donkey Spunky. But the horse's mother pulls him away, saying we don't associate with that kind. Spunky makes a few more overtures, and eventually they set off on a chase, running across a bull from time to time. The horse stops to eat a lot of apples and drink far too much water; this leaves him too bloated to move much at all. The two continue to anger the bull, which gives chase; Spunky saves the colt, and they all live in harmony.

A small goose decides he is going to walk south instead of flying, hitchhiking as he goes but he runs into trouble as he makes his way along the road.

Porky introduces a newsreel of wartime spot gags, including a spoof of the RKO Pictures logo, and caricatures of Jack Benny and Rochester.

Porky Pig works hard on his farm all year. On a neighboring farm, a bear lazes around and allows his animals to be idle. The winter comes, and he has nothing to eat.

A hen adopts an abandoned egg which hatches into a turtle. The baby turtle becomes the butt of all the real chicks' jokes until danger threatens.

Barney's settling in for the winter. But water leaks, a loose shutter, a noisy fire, a teakettle left on, and some stray embers all get in the way, and Barney also locks himself out. And that's just the beginning.
