Growing Up at the End of the World

Mexico City was built on a lake, yet today it faces water scarcity. This film allows us to reflect on this contradiction. It also travels back in time to the day when a monolith representing Tlaloc, the aquatic deity, was transported to the center of the city.

I have a lot of interest and respect for classic cinema. I tried to make a film with at least 20 portraits of classical actresses whose films I'm familiar with. Difficult choices from all over the world. They each have their own beauty.
